Hello! I have not used this service in a while so most of the reviews are older but feel free to check out my face book page for pictures and videos that are more recent. See below for my fancy introduction. We set up a training program that fits your particular dog. From basic obedience to the well controlled off leash dog. Even when the training is done I am always here to help with questions or problems that you are not sure about so I can guide you to success. I have been around dogs my whole life & truly enjoy working with them. With out dogs my life would not be what it is today. I met my wife when I was training a dog and 15 years later we have two amazing children.

We found K9 Tutoring on Thumbtack for our dog, Bubba. He was a 7 month old Goldendoodle at the time, with a lot of great energy and a stubborn personality to train! We had read good reviews and watched the training videos and decided to reach out to Scott. From the beginning he was very attentive and helpful. In talking with him, we learned that he is very knowledgeable about dogs, their habits, and positive ways to train them- which is exactly what my fiance and I were looking for. He provided a few training options and we chose to have him stay with Scott and his family for 7 days. We wanted Bubba immersed in the environment we wanted to create and then translate that once he came home. We were nervous to drop him off, but they made it very easy because we knew he was in great hands! They sent us pictures of Bubba hanging out with his family and videos of him training throughout the week, which we both throughly enjoyed! Not only was Bubba very happy, but he was learning! We showed our family members and friends the videos and they were all very impressed! When we picked Bubba up, he truly was a different dog. Since his week stay, he has stopped jumping on counters and people. His loud bark when we are out for walks has become more controlled, and he is learning to control his excitement. The training doesn't end once the week is over, however Scott provided us with the tools to train him confidently. We are so pleased with the progress he is continuing to make and would refer K9 Tutoring to anyone! Thank you, K9 Tutoring!

We used K9 Tutoring for a 2 week board and train for our 1 year old German Shepherd Dog. Scott was very professional and keep me informed on how she was doing. I had separation anxiety and he let me know how she was doing while we were away.

My pricing is a simple pay by session plan. You can purchase as little as one session or many for a lower price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First session is the foundation of all training. With out this you will never get full potential out of your dog.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my training is hands on and research & observation of other trainers. I truly believe that everything I have really learned is from other trainers & hands on experience.
