FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All movers charge an hourly rate, depending on how many movers they send. For 2 movers we charge an hourly rate of $84/hr, 3 movers are $104/hr, and 4 movers are $134/hr. There is also a one-time truck/travel fee (depending on locations), and the cost of packing materials (tape/boxes). All movers charge for these 3 services. Make sure you get a detailed quote and be cautious of movers who don't mention an hourly rate, truck/travel fee, or material costs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Explanation is the key to a new customer. Most new customers are not familiar with the moving process and need to be educated about the entire move process including pricing, preparation, what to expect from the mover, and what the mover expects you to be prepared with on the day of the move
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Safety and care is the main knowledge we teach to our employees. Wrapping each item well is the first and foremost principle of safe moving. Also maneuvering items through doors and halls, and stacking items properly in the truck is key for a successful move.
