Lake Shore Dance Academy is a ballroom dance studio whose mission is to share a passion for dancing through our community and to inspire our students to achieve their individual goals while discovering the many physical and mental benefits of dancing. Our objective is to provide the highest quality learning experience in personalized dance instruction. We teach American and International styles of Ballroom Dance and Latin Dances, and strive to provide a fun and comfortable environment.
At LSDA, we always put our students first. We ensure that our students’ goals are met by tailoring each lesson to meet their specific needs and desires. In addition, In addition, we provide opportunities for each student to stretch and expand their dancing skills and build greater poise and confidence through our dance parties, social dancing events, and dance showcases.

Its my passion to teach students how to dance, I consider dancing to be the true expression of my soul. I appreciate the opportunity to share my passion about ballroom dance, and I am inspired by the commitment that my students put into creating memorable dance experiences. I love meeting new people, but mostly it is such a rewarding feeling to see my students after just handful lessons to beautifully dance around the floor having so much fun!

I am a new dancer with 0 experience. I had recently been through some traumatic events in my life and so I decided to do something for myself and take up dancing. Anna has been so great, not only are the lessons incredible, but they are one of the few things that have helped me push through. I highly recommend anyone who is wanting to learn how to dance, trying to become better at dancing or just wanting to have fun, to try this place out.

Anna choregraphed and taught us our First Dance for our wedding. Our experience was amazing from start to finish. She helped us pick our song and gave us good feedback and also listened to our concerns. Her classes were one on one and so much fun. We used our weekly dancelessons as date nights and it was honestly one of the best and most enjoyable parts of wedding planning. Both me and my husband were not dancers yet she made us feel so comfortable , confident, and made us look almost like professionals on the dance floor. We received so many compliments on our dance! I can't recommend her enough! She is an amazing teacher, she's so knowledgeable and bonus - she's hilarious and fun!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our Introductory Special is a 45 min private lesson offer to new students for only $55. After that, we will customize your program, and offer a program package that fits your needs and desires. Package pricing depends on the number lessons purchased.
During your first 45 minute private lesson you will work with our knowledgeable, supportive, and award-winning dance instructors. During your lesson your instructor will want to become familiar with your goals. Each of our dance lessons is customized to suit your individual needs and desires. We adjust our teaching style to your ability and expectations. We have learned that students who have specific goals learn 3-4 times faster.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with an initial phone conversation about your interests in ballroom dancing. You will be provided with information about the types of dancing offered as well as discussing schedule availability.
The first lesson is a fun 45 minute lesson during which we can get to know each other, learn some basic dance steps and further discuss your dance goals and desires.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Anna’s dance knowledge is unusually diverse. She is proficient in, and certified by the National Dance Council of America to teach, all American and International Style Ballroom dances (Waltz, ChaCha, Foxtrot, Tango, Rhumba and many more) as well as popular social dances including Salsa, Hustle, Bachata, West Coast Swing, Merengue and others. She teaches children as well, serving as their instructor and choreographer in preparation for diverse Latin competitions and showcases.
Anna also specializes in choreographing and teaching stunning customized wedding and special event dances.
