I'm really pleased with our new floor. Dan came to my house, listened to my concerns, and gave me a fair estimate that included several additional items just in case the job was more difficult than it appeared so I had a good idea what I was in for. He also answered my (many) questions about flooring and logistics. Jim and Chris arrived on time on the scheduled day and Dan came out to answer questions and check up on the job. They finished the floor in a day (I was told to expect two). I've never had a job finish earlier and less expensive than expected, but that's what happened in this case, and I'm thrilled with the results. I know who to call the next time I have a flooring job. Thanks!

Dan and his team were very professional and did nice work installing new drywall and backsplash in kitchen. Dan came to do the measurements and discuss the job with me and they scheduled and completed in a timely fashion. Would use this pro again

I can't thank Dan and his team enough for their work on our floors. We purchased a new construction home and we weren't thrilled with the options that they offered so we chose to stick with the provided flooring, tear it up and have Footprints install new flooring that we purchased. We ended up with McMillan floors, purchased from the Flooring Factory, in the Cannon colorway. The team stayed one step ahead of us (pun totally intended) in terms of asking the right questions and making sure we had all the materials we needed. Because we were planning this before the house was built, Dan even drove out to Plainfield (we live in Lisle) to tour and measure the model home. Beyond that, they adjusted the schedule just a bit when we had to pivot on the stair install plan and had to wait on materials. We can't thank them enough - our house looks SO much better!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet the customer at their property to measure and discuss the best flooring choices. We will send an estimate to the customer quickly and competitively.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Install, sand and finish new hardwood and all existing hardwood. Stain new floors and old floors to match. Install new or refinish treads and risers on stairs. Help select and install new tile or vinyl floors. Natural stone and tile installation. Move furniture, appliances and plumbing. Remove/dispose of the existing floor. Remove/return baseboards and furniture.
