- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees can be negotiated according to student needs and duration of time spent. i.e. weekly lessons, individual, group, Skype/FaceTime.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first talk with the prospective student about his/her language background, his /her goals., his/her learning style and interests. I also have him/her take an evaluation that gives me a first idea. Ultimately , during the two first lessons or so, we do speaking, listening , reading and writing activities that really determine the level of my new student. I then can design a curriculum , with the student's goals in mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters in History from the Sorbonne University in Paris and a Bachelor Degree in Geography from the University Paris 7, both located in Paris. I taught History and Geography in France and at the Lycée Français of Bogota, Colombia. In 2013 ,I obtained my Professional Teaching License for French K-12 and Spanish at National Louis University. I have been teaching French and Spanish in different settings: Middle schools, high schools, in private setting with individual and small group classes, corporate , for individuals and groups of employees. I've held classes for corporate clients to learn Spanish to communicate with other Spanish speaking employees to create camaraderie within the corporate structure. I have taught history and geography to middle school and high school students in Paris. She also taught at the Lycée Français in Bogota. Upon landing in the United States, Nicole obtained her Professional Teaching License at National Louis University in 2013
