FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide architectural design services for residential new construction, additions, interior remodels, and basement finish outs. I also provide commercial design services for retail, professional office, medical office, industrial, and warehouse.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
During the interview and hiring process for an architect several factors should be taken into consideration. Proposed fees are important and can vary greatly from lowest to highest but should not be the most important factor when hiring an architect. Meeting the architect in person and discussing your project and their past projects will help narrow your prospects. Next, follow up on the architects references and review their work online. After narrowing your prospects following these steps review their proposed fees and make an informed decision that you can be comfortable with and enter the project knowing you made the correct decision.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Architects provide a very valuable service for their clients. Beyond the obvious such as design and detailing of the project we are hired to act in the best interest of the client and be their advocate when negotiating with general contractors. In this capacity we can help the client maximize their construction budget and insure the integrity of the project.
