"I'm so happy you've stopped by my profile! My name is Juliana Noelle Jumper. My interest in wedding and lifestyle photography begin with my personal experience as a bride, and the difficulty in feeling like I just didn't quite fit. I am here for all people: the minimalists, the autonomous, the introverted, the anti-brides, and everyone in between. Coming from a background in fine art and experimental documentary, I have a nontraditional approach to my subjects; I aim to capture the papers littering your desk top, your child's freckled nose, the way you caress your lover's face. Enlivened and endlessly interested by my clientele, I search for seemingly insignificant moments, small gestures, all those little details that make you 'you.' I am captivated by sentimentality- the stories you can't quite remember, the items you can't get rid of just yet. Through my lens I search for symmetry, minimalism, messiness, and narrative. I capture the joy in your most important moments and the poetry in between, ultimately creating a collection of heirloom imagery that is artistic, honest and intimate. I'm not going to talk about how I love, love. Like anything in life, love is a journey; a journey filled with ups and downs, passion and apathy, anger and happiness. I fell into this profession. Falling in love with my partner was a very transformative experience and when he and I decided to marry, I was both charmed and perplexed by the wedding industry. However, I also felt acutely out of place within it. I was a bride with an inward edge; a hopeless romantic with a cynical attitude, and a strong intuition for visual aesthetics. (My BFA also helped with the last one.) I started photographing weddings after a close friend asked me to photograph her own. I agreed, and haven't looked back. Capturing people celebrating their love, caught up in the joy and exhaustion of the day, is truly one of the most exhilarating, fulfilling efforts. I strive for honesty and elegance within my wedding imagery; I search for the poetic, intimate in between."

Do you feel anxious or rushed while in the studio? Would you like a photographer to take the time to help you feel comfortable? Would you like the freedom to work along side of your photographer to create the perfect photo album full of memories? After working almost 8 years in a number of main stream studios, such as JC Penny's, Kiddie Kandids, and Expressly Portraits just to name a few, I felt like there had to be more than what a typical mall studio was offering. So in 2012 I left my 9 to 5 portrait photographer day job and open Rochellez Photography. Now I can offer my clients a fun, flexible, and professional photography service that is customized to fit all my clients personal needs. Rochellez Photography professionals all have the same goal... to put you at ease with there technical skills, warm caring nature, and attention to detail. Each session is handcrafted with all of your personal needs in mind. And every photo album is created to fit your desired outcome. Here's how... First, I find out exactly what your vision is, what are looking for in the portraits or portrait, and how many different type of poses, or outfit changes you will need. This information will help me figure out how many images to create so you have a wide variety of pictures to choose from in your custom created album. In addition I also offer a wide variety of keepsake options such as Slideshows, Scrapbook Pages, and Custom Art Portraits. My CAP's are specially designed to match your style and personality. All of my work is created with a digital format, usually an album will be on a DVD to give my client added savings, although I do offer a full service boutique with printable options. An albums cost really depends on how many pictures are in the album, what the medium the album is created in, how you want your completed album, and if you add any extra keepsake items added to your package. I do keep a back up copy for the possible loss of your album and marketing purposes with your written consent. No album is too small or too big, they are always just right for your needs. I look forward to working with you, learn more about your vision for this occasion, and offer you a fair and comfortable price for our services. I'm sure by working together we can come up with a perfect package that fits your needs. I look forward to speaking with you, here's to having a very blessed day... Rochelle Douglass McEathron"

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost for a photographer for a wedding?

Finding the right wedding photographer can make a big difference for your ceremony. Nationally, the average wedding photographer’s price ranges from $800 to $1,000, but costs can be much higher in areas like Chicago, New York or Los Angeles where some couples spend $2,000 to $5,000 or more for the photographer they want. Factors that can affect your wedding photographer prices include the photographer’s reputation and experience. Heavy hitters can command top rates, especially during wedding-season weekends. Day of the week also affects your cost. You may get a $200 discount on wedding photographer prices if you get married on a Friday in November rather than a Saturday in June. Time onsite is also an important cost factor. Hiring a photographer to snap photos from the moment you wake up until after last call at the reception is going to cost more than five hours of pictures during the day. Multiple photographers, special lighting, and videography will also increase your costs. Ultimately you want to find someone who has a style you love and can provide the number of edited shots you want for a price you can handle. Learn more about hiring a wedding photographer.
