FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are (2) options.....#1. $275 for us to arrive at your location (3hr. min) $75hr +(1)time $50 destination fee. Paid upon arrival. The $75 per hr. till completion. Remaining balance if any paid then. #2. A flat rate agreed upon prior to arrival. Upon arrival we collect %60 if not %100 of the flat rate. Now for all parties involved a contract is presented and signed at start time along with payment. Customer holds contract as that is their receipt of payment as well. If we go with the hourly option is chosen. Here's an example... Start time is 7am... we arrive at 7am the contract is signed at 7am however the official start time on the contract will be 7:20 am because we wont actually be moving the items till a lil after 7am. So the (3hr. minimum) would end at 10:20 am. Then the $75 hourly rate starts at 10:20am until completion and if you don't use a full hr. that hr.is prorated in (15minute) increments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First decide if we are going to with an hourly rate or a flat rate. Frankly flat rates seem to work best for both parties.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I posses an Associate of Science in the field of Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD). My first relocation specialist position was with a division of Atlas Van Lines. Which is a (1) of the top (3) National carriers in the country. I went through their professional training course because I was nationwide company driver (Road Warrior). I was taught the correct way and I train my guys the same way. The key goal is customer service. The best advertising is word of mouth.
