Highlights: - By far the most communicative and helpful out of the more than 10 companies I looked at while shopping around for a cleaning service. - Very helpful and responsive in the booking process. - Flexible in the services, as I needed something customized for health/safety reasons (see below). - Fantastic cleaning quality, even going above and beyond the call of duty. - Friendly. - Prompt and professional follow-up for quality control and customer satisfaction. I hired House Keep-Up for a deep clean of my kitchen plus a couple other areas right before my wedding, for my fiancée to move into a very clean place. The kitchen deep clean was critical, because my fiancée has Celiac, so I needed all traces of gluten removed from every nook and cranny of my kitchen for the health and safety of my soon-to-be wife. She has a highly sensitive case of Celiac, so cross contamination of even a crumb getting into her food can make her ill. First, out of the more than 10 companies I contacted or got bids from, HKU was by far the most communicative and easiest to work with. They were very clear and honest in terms of what was or was not included, which made it easy to calculate the value, and developed trustworthiness right away. This is in stark contrast to literally every other company I spoke with, as it was like pulling teeth trying to get the others to clarify what they were or were not willing/able to do. Because of the crucial gluten component, the person I worked with via Thumbtack worked with me to create a custom package (at a highly competitive value) that would ensure a sufficient and safe level of cleanliness for my fiancée. The ease of their booking process already made them stand out far from the rest. Then, the service itself . . . Sandra was the person who cleaned. She was very friendly and worked extremely hard. I walked her through what had been agreed upon, and she listened carefully, and took the Celiac thing very seriously. She did an incredibly thorough job on my kitchen, cleaning every possible corner and doing all the little extra things that made it clear that she really cared. The cleaning time took longer than what the dispatcher had estimated, which was not a problem at all, because Sandra stayed until every last thing was done, and even did a couple extra things just to deliver extra high quality work! Within a half hour of Sandra's departure, a woman from HKU called me to make sure I was happy with the work, saying that she was prepared to send Sandra back if there was anything I felt was not completed. Quite the contrary, I told her: the work was excellent. From their price/package quoting to the service to the follow-up, this company stands out as a stellar option, and if I ever need to hire a cleaning company again, I will use them, and I will recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who is looking for a cleaning service.Mar 2, 2018Verified

We'll ask some questions to make sure things get done right. Once scheduled, your team will visit you and confirm the booking and get to work. Our office will reach out to make sure everything was done just as discussed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We've been in the service industry helping people for past 8 years. Happy customer is our #1 priority. Our cleaners have years of experience in commercial and residential cleaning as well as hotel industry. Proper training renders us ready for any situation and occasion.
