Everyone was very knowledgeable and the process was very quick. I had a complex tax situation but still got a very good price (about a third of what other tax chains charge). i will definitely come here next year, also they offer other services besides tax service that i will definitely take advantage of.

I was at a loss as to how to find a good accountant for tax season that wasn't in a big box chain, and just stumbled onto Thumbtack through a Google search.
What luck, because Thumbtack put us in touch with Gerald with Tax Busters, and he was excellent. Gerald was very personable and took time to walk me and my husband through our tax return and explain exactly why we owed what we did. He also advised us on changes we could make to our retirement planning that would positively impact our tax situation. His knowledge and customer service are excellent and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is looking for tax help.

Mr. Knight is very professional, very thorough with his explanations, very helpful and reasonable in cost. My husband and I put a request in for CPA on Thumbtack and Tax Busters replied almost immediately and we had an appointment set up for later that week. Mr. Knight gave my husband several helpful tips in regards to handling his business finances and employees along other things which we found very helpful. I highly recommend this service for tax purposes.

Gerald was very patient with me and thorough with my taxes. The Tax Busters service was convenient (did everything remotely from the comfort of my home), and extremely affordable for filing both federal and state. Mr. Knight's answers to my questions were quick and informative, even in the evening and on the weekend. He was also able to advise me on deductions that always seemed to complicated and confusing to tackle on online tax software. I don't think I'll ever do my own taxes again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have the most simple fee structure in the industry. This year at 25% off what you paid your last tax preparer. Next year the same price as long as you get us all your documentation by Valentine's Day. It's the sweetest deal in town!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Because I am a CPA I am required to take many hours of continuing education on an annual basis.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The numbers of clients who we have gone back and amended their prior returns and gotten them thousands of dollars of otherwise overpaid taxes are too numerous to begin to mention. But anyone who has been doing their own taxes is a prime candidate.
