Contacted Andrew about our painting project, he came out for a quote within a couple days, he was very professional and gave us a great quote for essentially painting our entire house, his team of painters did what they needed to do to protect our newly refinished hardwood floors, as well as the rest of our house, the painting turned out very good, Andrew stopped by every day to make sure his guys were on track and producing quality work. Very pleased with the outcome. If we weren’t moving to Arizona we would definitely use him again.Jun 9, 2019Verified
Andrew was awesome to work with. I was able to text him with questions when I needed, and he didn't mind. The job was done in the time he estimated and at the cost he quoted. Brandon was also really nice and worked hard. Overall, we are happy with the tile job and bathtub installation.Nov 12, 2017Verified
The estimate was to patch and paint, but Andrew didn't patch anything until I said something just painting over water spots, etc. he got mad when I told him I did not like his work. He left my home in a mess, paint on my laminated floor, paint on my carpets, dust everywhere, on furniture. I'm insulted. I've had painters to paint for me before. Andrew never put down a covering or anything. I feel he disrespected my home. I don't believe he would have done this to to his family home. He's not that good that he can paint without covering up. Then he saying I kept changing the original scope, he's a liar, j was making sure his work was done right. Bad Job!!!!Jul 12, 2016VerifiedElite Renovations/Ace Painters's reply
Mr Gary, the issue was indeed that you kept asking for additional respairs that were not on the original scope both for the ceilings and the exterior work. When Andrew went out initially he quoted for repairs that he was shown. Additional reapairs that "you didn't notice" as he was told by you were not included. As far as the patching goes that is the first step we take when we begin a painting project so your claim that you had to "Tell" him to patch first is not true. Our previous reviews don't lie Andrew is one of our best painters and is very knowledgeable in what he does. As I told you in our previous conversation it is unfortunate that we could not complete your project. Sometimes it is best just to go separate ways. You will receive your deposit back as you were told. We wish you the best of luck with your future projects. Angel Ace Painters
Should have better knowledge of how many coats are needed to paint the walls. Especially since he painted the home 6 months prior to me purchasing the home. Also he changers how much he was going to charge the morning he wanted the rest of his payment. Floors weren't swept and gave me attitude when I asked why he hadn't cleaned the loose paint of the floors. I quote "we don't mop the floors" Bubbles of paint formed on the wall and I had to request that he fix the areas that bubbled. He ended up charging me $500 more than originally quoted. Mind you the house was empty and he didn't paint the ceilings. He also splattered paint on my driveway after I asked for touch ups to be done that were uneven or missed.May 21, 2016VerifiedElite Renovations/Ace Painters's reply
Nawal you were charged $280 for extra paint that was needed and $150 for the extra work on trims and door that was not part of the original scope. You agreed to the pricing for the extra work before we did anything so I dnt understand why you are acting as if you were charged for work that was not done. The extra charge for the paint was for the extra coats of paint that HAD to be applied to get a good finish(for which you were not charged any labor just materials). We were verry reasonable with you as far as pricing and the work we provided was of very good quality( for which you obviously neglect to mention)... As far as the "bubbles" on the wall you did not "Request" to have it repaired after the work was completed you simply pointed it out before we were done and I had no problem taking care of it. ( you might want to be more clear)... Also you were not given any attitude at all for anything that you asked for no matter how difficult you were being... Everything was fine and you were more than content with us and the work up until that final morning because I wouldn't waive the extra charge for extra paint although I believe it to be fair that we did not charge you the labor, I dnt see how you could expect us not to charge for the paint. As far as the Paint on the driveway goes I will personally drive By the property to ensure this is true as I am certain you are not being truthfull about it. Nawal overall I think you should be more appreciative of everything we did for you, instaed of trying to make us look bad over $280 dollars of paint that went towards making your property look good.(you were provided with the paint receipts)..
They did a very nice job, i got my basement and my entire first floor repainted, they made quick work of the high ceilings and i was very impressed with final result. I will definitely call them back when im ready to get the second floor repainted.Mar 20, 2016
