We had our hail damaged roof replaced. Curtiss was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He helped us understand the process needed to file a claim and always got back to us in a timely fashion. His crew did a great job on the roof and the cleanup. I highly recommend RSC Builders, Inc..

I probably should have done this review earlier in the season, but life has been busy. I'm currently snowed in, looking out our new windows at this blizzard that has me trapped. So, here's my review.Last fall we went looking for a company to help give our home a facelift. After a quick google search we were on our way. We met with three contactors. They all give us quotes for new windows and siding. Curtiss from RSC won us over. He was the only one to showed up on time! He was also very polite and accommodating while answering the all the questions we had prepared. The remodel was quick and relatively painless. At one point I had a concern about the large window they were replacing in our livingroom. One phone call later and Curtiss put me at ease and assured me that my needs would be met.I highly recommend RSC Builders to anyone who is looking to remodel their home.

First let me start by saying thank you to Curtiss and his crew.What started out as a nightmare turned into no more than something of an inconvenience.We had a tree fall on our home and break through the roof andour bedroom ceiling in a high wind storm this winterAfter calling a couple of contractors who came out too look at the damage, they both decided they did not want any part of the job, at this point I did not know what to do.I have a friend who gave me a phone number to someone he thought could help. I called the number and I spoke to Curtiss at RSC Builders. He let me know that he could come out that day and take a look at the damage.Curtiss showed up at the time we scheduled to survey the damage, after talking to him for a few minutes, he asked if I had spoken to my insurance company.I told him I had and I let him know the insurance company told me to fix everything as soon as possible to prevent further damage.What happened next was pretty unbelievable Curtiss made a couple of phone calls and some more guys arrived about an hour later, they'd cut the tree away from the house, brought materials with them to fix the hole in the roof and tarped of the area until the insurance adjuster arrived too survey the damage.Curtiss came inside and took a look at the damage inside the house to make sure everything was secure until the adjuster was able to give a proper estimate for all the damages.Needless to say Curtiss and his guys were a blessing; they finished all the work after the adjuster gave an estimate for all the damages.Thanks again to Curtiss at RSC Builders and his crew you guys were amazing.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing for most repairs is 65.00 per hour. If more than one technician is needed we will let you know the addtional cost before any work would start. There would be no cost to you if you decide not to do the work with our company. We can usually do this before showing up to your home, if you can text us a couple of pictures of what and where we will be working on the home. We will also quote a total cost for installation projects Any large project will be determined with a site visit and a estimate given for the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first call we will establish the type of service is needed. We provide many services and full remodel projects for our customers. Once we determine the type of service, we will set up a schedule to get the work completed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are certified with GAF, Owens Corning, Certainteed and IKO Shingle manufactures. We are licensed with the State of Illinois for Roofing Contractors. Lic # 104-014025
