- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is average or slightly below average. When you ask for an estimate, please remember that every Pro that you ask to send an estimate must pay Thumbtack to send you that estimate. When you are looking for the lowest cost, please choose other Pros. My pricing is average and not higher than the value of what the job is worth. I will quote the work if it is well described in the request. Some items such as electrical troubleshooting and repair may warrant a short visit to your home to see the full scope of the project. There are some items such as disposals, ceiling fans, switches and outlets for which I have developed a standard price sheet. You may ask to see the standard pricing for items similar to yours, but many items I will quote a fixed price based on your request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will have one or more phone conversations prior to the work. I am happy to respond to text messages and questions. Other services that may be beyond the scope of your initial request will be considered.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am licensed by the State of Illinois as a home inspector. The training requirements and testing are established by the State of Illinois. I am a LEED AP which means LEED Accredited Professional. This is a Professional accreditation from the US Green Building Council. I am also an Illinois State Certified Weatherization Assessor.
