Tai , I never wear make- up, so when my son was getting married I knew I would have to try out several makeup artists. I wanted to make sure that I could find one who could help me feel comfortable all day and look great in these memorable pictures. I tried out several and Tai made me feel like a friend from our first meeting. We talk while she did the test like old friends. After my make-up was finished, I went out and ran some errands. I felt glamorous. I had told her my daughter also wanted her makeup done for the wedding but she was unable to come to the test. Tai was gracious and handled it in stride. I didn’t feel rushed the day of my son’s wedding and felt quite pampered. My daughter and I were stunning. I will use Tai in the future and I would HIGHLY recommend her.

I found Traci using this website recommended to me by my mother-in-law. I had experienced a rough make-up trial before and wasn't satisfied so I was on the hunt for a new makeup artist. Traci was prompt in responding to my requirements, and her pricing was very reasonable for her services. We made an appointment THAT WEEK for her to swing by my house and do a pre-trial. During our pre-trial, she was professional, personable, and listened to my needs. The pre-trial was amazing. She spent a few hours working with me, trying to create the perfect wedding look! She is very easy-going, easy to talk to, and overall, I enjoyed the experience. I loved the fact that she kept in touch with me the month before my wedding to share with me new products she received that we could use on my big day! When the big-day was here, she was prompt and made me look GORGEOUS. There was not a single thing I can think of that I was disappointed in or anything that went wrong. I give her 5 stars because she went above and beyond to make me feel beautiful and stunning. Thank you Traci for all your hard work!

Delia was great! She was so warm and friendly and listened to my overall concerns. She left me looking like a million bucks without having to spend that much. I was pleasantly surprised because she was much more affordable than other makeup artists. Delia definitely knows what she's doing and I would hire her again, I got many compliments on my makeup, which lasted all through the night. The only not so positive thing I have to comment is she did run a little late due to another appointment, but she was still very professional, and let me know, rather than keep me waiting for her, which was much appreciated.

Vallene did great work on our Halloween makeup, and we received so many compliments. It was much faster than anything I could have done myself and it washed off very easy with just water. Highly recommend.

Anna makes beautiful facepaint creations and is incredibly professional to work with! She does great work in any setting, be it at my non-profit's annual Halloween party benefit for hip urban millennials or at a local birthday party working with toddlers. I would hire her for any party -- she brings that magic sparkle to everything she does.

Julie was amazing! she did my hair and makeup for both my bridal portrait sitting and my wedding, as well as a few ladies in my bridal party. I wish I had occasion to have her do my makeup and hair ALL the time because she was fabulous. Professional, on time, friendly, and everyone looked fantastic. 10/10 would absolutely pick her again!

I did trails with a total of four different makeup artists for my wedding. Monica by far is the most experienced, communicative, organized, and generous. First, all of her instruments were clean (brushes, sponges, spatulas...) and she mixed colors on a glass mirror instead of with her hands or on the palette. Second, she asked for my opinion/thoughts on every product BEFORE putting it on my face and I could tell she welcomed all the comments. This is extremely important to me in a trial since so many artists are stubborn in the way they like to do makeup--I sensed none of that in Monica. She was willing to change the look as we went multiple times. Third, after my trial, I kept in communication with Monica with pictures throughout the day and suggestions (for example, that the eyeliner was transferring onto my eyelid fold). She kept these in mind between the trial and service day. Some concerns: When putting together the final contract, there were some math errors (to my advantage). I corrected these and no harm done. Monica had to back out of my service date due to a family emergency and left me in the hands of her assistant (and gave me a free second trial), who is equally talented, but not as organized or experienced. My wedding day look turned out great, still... I wish that I had Monica instead.
