Kristel Becares

Hello! My name is Kristel Becares, and I am a Chicago based illustrator and fine artist. I study at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and have been making art for over 10 years. I specialize in graphite/charcoal, acrylic, ink, and colored pencil, but I've had a lot of experience with watercolor and pastels as well. My portfolio consists of portraits, life drawings, still lifes, and illustrations in different styles and mediums. I've worked on a lot of independent projects, but I would love more experience in working with commissions, group projects, and collaborations. Whether you are looking for someone to design a book cover/album cover, a portrait of your dog, a landscape painting to hang in your bathroom, an illustration of favorite superhero, or even a tattoo design, I am open to all requests and ideas and will put my heart and soul into each project.
