Excellent experience. We hired Gerardo Carpet to paint exterior trim, shutters, etc.of our home in June. Very professional service - a prompt and very reasonable quote, very courteous, neat painting job and clean up. Also graciously accommodated a couple of changes we decided to make along the way. Would highly recommend them.

Gerardo and his employees are fantastic. I had Manny and Efrain as well on the job. Gerardo has such an amazing work ethic. He met with me to give me an estimate. He was professional, kind and reasonable. He was able to accommodate my timetable and needs. On the day of the carpet installation, Manny arrived on time. He is a quiet and professional worker. Very helpful and great with communication. Second was Efrain, who is jovial and also very professional! The three of them are truly perfectionists. I witnessed all of them doing a specific job where they wanted to do it correctly, the FIRST time, and they work well together. Remodels are always tough. They made it easy on me. Polite, kind, funny and THEY GET THE JOB DONE. If I had more houses to carpet, I would use Gerardo Carpet in an instant. I would call it perfect.

So, I have to be honest. I was a bit wary of using Thumbtack. However, after communicating with Gerardo from Gerardo Carpet and then meeting him, I could not be more pleased. I had been to several big box stores and some carpet outlets. Gerardo's prices were very comepative and the quality of carpet and padding was much better than what was offered at a similar price range in the stores. He worked with me to get the carpet I wanted and came to the house twice with samples-which is important since lighting affects how the carpet looks in your house. When the distributor ended up being out of stock on our chosen carpet, Gerardo made a special trip out to help me pick a new color because he knew our goal was to have carpet in before we moved into our new house. I don't think the big stores would have given us this level of attention to detail. Gerardo made sure I had a carpet color and style I loved and that installation was completed before we moved.
