I am very creative with giving your rooms and personal style energy, beauty, and life! Since the age of 5, I developed a sense of creativity and style. I would dress up in my mother's clothing and shoes. I began piecing items together and created a different, classy and cute look for myself and others. I live in an apartment - with a space that can't be fully altered because of the lease - so I wasn't too hopeful about decorating. However, after Chonte and her team left their mark, my hope was truly restored!! I'll be honest, after our initial meeting I was nervous. I didn't know if she would really capture my vision for the space and then...once she finished, everything from the color combinations to the furniture, just screamed ME!" Made me realize she knew my vision better than I did. Guess that's why she's the professional and I'm not. Ha

I called Interior Designs by Chonte' to get some help with decorating my boutique. She was very polite and insightful over the phone, so I knew that I was in for a treat once she visited my space. Her team came right in and pointed out what should be updated and the all around changes that need to be made. They were nothing less than professional and efficient. There were times when I was unsure of what color palettes to use or what furniture would fit in the space, but Chonte' put me at ease with all of her ideas and made my vision a reality. My customers love my boutique and I owe it all to Chonte' and her team.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $150/hr( 2 hr minimum) for a design session. I like to keep things simple and charge by the hour. The session includes face to face with the professional, picking paint colors, helping select materials or whatever else you may need. I wil also provide assistance with shopping at local stores, hanging artwork, choosing pillows and rugs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in my own home, people would compliment me and tell me that I had a gift. I would hear this for years. I decided to step out on faith and go for it. I receive a plethora of compliments daily on my style and fashion sense, I have a creative eye and technique on how to put colors, patterns and designs together.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Full house makeover. Wardrome consulting on fashion tips, advice and guidance.
