FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I go based on the type of material they want and what exactly they want done. I give them a reasonable price but if once I start I notice more work needs to be done I let them know before I do anything.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ask them during the quote exactly what they want done and what material they will be using. I also ask them what their budget is and what their time fram is. After all that I like to send them a detailed email on what I will be doing and what my price will be. If we go forward with the project I like to have a contract done for both of our safety.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started as a helper only mixing thin set and doing cuts for them. Also bringing down and picking up all the material and tools needed for the job. I always asked questions and paid attention to what and how they did everything. Even though I was never able to do more than just mix clean and do cuts I know I could do it. So I took a chance and I went on my own. I have been on my own now for 3 years and have never had a complain.
