FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Electrical work involves more and more complex devices. Sensors and computers are being integrated into nearly every aspect of our lives, and it is our job to make it work.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are two distinct levels of electrical contractors... depending on your needs, be sure to hire the right type: The average electrician can repair/replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, etc. They know their trade very well and work fast, but focus on repairs. New installation and design is not their specialty and commonly causes major headaches and costs to the property owner down the road. The design-build electrical contractors (and I mean the REAL ones) will design and layout systems and components to maintain a longer life. It will be easier to repair later, cheaper to alter, and gives more options to the owner. Using the owner's initial desires, they take the ball and run with it, producing a full project and design with outstanding results.
