AMAZING work. We hired mark to finish our basement and he did an excellent job, we were very impressed by how mark and his team worked hard to get the job done in a timely and effective manner. He was very friendly (we have two small children and they really liked mark), he was very responsive; just overall excellent communication skills. Our basement looks amazing, all the materials were high quality and he made the process very easy for us. He made sure we were never stressed about any part of the process. We Highly recommend mark, we will be reaching out to mark for future projects.

If I could choose all 5 positive items to describe Rusty Nail Renovation I would. Mark is awesome. Very punctual and responsive. Provided him our vision for our basementremodel and our budget and he made it happen. He addresses issues quickly and correctly. He is extremely fair and understanding. Completed the work so in the time that he said he would. Cant say enough about this company. Will definitely be hiring them again for more renovations.

I contacted Mark at Rusty Nail Renovations about remodeling my home in Villa Park, Illinois. Mark called me the very next day and made an appointment to come to the house for a consultation. He asked me exactly what I wanted to be done for the remodel.
Within two days, Mark called me to make another appointment to go over the quote he had put together. We sat down at the table and before long, I was signing the contract and I already knew I had made the right choice of Contractors.
Mark said it would be about an 8-week project and since this was during the holidays, he started the day after Christmas. Within days the demolition was completed and the rehab had started.
Mark assured me that everything would get done and done properly. He wasn't kidding. I never had to deal with anything or anyone involved. Plumbers, Electricians, painters, drywallers, tapers, everyone was scheduled by Mark and always on time. If there were any issues during the project, I never heard.
My house is now complete, a week ahead of schedule and looks absolutely beautiful. I have a brand new house that my parents purchased back in 1966. I am completely satisfied and very happy with the finished project. I can't wait until I am totally finished moving back in so I can sit and enjoy.
I would recommend Mark and Rusty Nail Renovations to everyone looking to have remodeling done in their home.

Mark was great to work with from the start. He came in with an openness and willingness to work with our ideas while also providing constructive feedback and creative ideas. The job went FAST and most changes or alterations to original plans we made with ease. The basement turned out amazing and was transformed from a concrete box to a luxurious retreat in a few weeks.

We are on the middle to higher end of pricing and can justify our prices vs. the low bid. We back our work, and your satisfaction is guaranteed. Your project will be completed on schedule and budget. Our price is transparent and do not offer a low estimate only to later add items that should've been included.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding what a client is envisioning as a completed project, and with our knowledge of construction and design experience to get to the project done on budget. We want to make any project big or small as exciting to our clients as possible. We want to educate our clients on all phases of the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in the business of home remodeling for over 3 decades. All employees have extensive knowledge and training. All of our sub contactors are licensed/bonded and have been with the Rusty Nail family for years. Many clients will comment on how nice the "guys" are. We strongly believe in having top quality craftsmen that are polite and trustworthy.
