Dan and Lawn Wizards Landscaping did an excellent job cleaning my yard in preparation for winter. They rescheduled for a day earlier than expected to avoid possible bad weather on the following day. I was not home when they arrived and finished but Dan sent pictures to show their work and ask if I was satisfied. I was. I would highly recommend their services. Very professional and courteous.

Stay away! He’s unreliable. I paid deposit for the fence he was supposed to put up months ago... guess what he ghosted me, then when I tried to recover the funds he blocked me and started sending some dumb emails. That guy should NOT be on Thumbtack, bad business for others who are reliable. Just BAD. If you want to see your project done go elsewhere and do not ever give him deposit.

I regret that the project didn’t work out . What wasn’t mentioned was that she originally contacted me in DECEMBER, near CHRISTMAS. Not an ideal time to put up a fence in Chicago.
Also not mentioned was the fact that I shopped around for her and found the EXACT fence she wanted for $1200 LESS than she was hoping to spend .
She had a $1500 budget , and I found the exact fence she wanted for only $300!!
I also let her use my trailer to store it for over 2 months . There was snow on the ground for over 6 weeks this winter . Completely out of my control.
When the snow finally cleared , the day she wanted to start called for rain , so did the next few days . I suggested we wait , because the rain could cause the concrete around the posts not to set properly . Which would ruin the strength and integrity of the fence. Her words were “ Let’s try it and see what happens “
Regardless of that , I regret that it’s taken so long to return the deposit . COVID related health issues in my family have prevented me from working normally the past months . I DIDNT ASK FOR THE DEPOSIT , SHE JUST SENT IT TO ME ON HER OWN .
IVE ALSO MADE 2 PAYMENTS TO HER ALREADY . Once I’m able to , I will return the remaining $125.
Again I regret that the project didn’t go as planned , and I hope that she was able to get it completed to her satisfaction.
