Training with the team at Barkes fitness has been great, I have had 3-4 personal trainers before and not clicked with them. Ryan kicks my ass in training!!! Although one of the most challenging full body work outs I've ever gotten, he always makes it fun and funny. He's got a great sense of humor but is very professional, punctual, and responsive to my needs as a trainee. I highly recommend Ryan if you're looking to change your relationship with fitness and get a kickass, fun workout.

I offer private rock climbing instruction coinciding with a fitness plan. We discuss your goals and make a plan to achieve them. Our training will consist solely of things done in a climbing gym, with the possibility of later hiking excursions to the outdoors.
Ideally, you will be available for a minimum of two times a week. This ensures consistent results. There is a difference between this and your usual gym though.
I will push you physically, and the climbing will push you mentally. I will facilitate these two dynamics interacting. However, if you don't wake up wishing it was a training day, I'm not doing my job right. We can have fun while staying extremely fit.
