I had Austin replace my roof. I was impressed with his responsiveness and his ability to navigate the insurance claim. I have referred him to multiple clients and they have all been happy with his work. Highly recommend.Feb 5, 2020Blue Ladder Roofing's reply

I explicitly asked for a general estimate without coming out to a home I have an offer on. I started I would call them back out for a physical estimate at a later date due to the sellers still being in the home. These people showed up and made rude comments to the homeowners about "well didnt you sell the house" as an excuse with why they were there without an appointment. Will NOT be using themMar 13, 2020VerifiedBlue Ladder Roofing's reply
Dear Christina, I wanted to take the time to respond to this review. I would like to start off by apologizing for your negative experience with Blue Ladder Roofing, as that is not how I would want the customer experience to be. You asked me to give you an estimate on a roof for a house you put an offer on to purchase. I responded to your request by telling you a price range between A & Z, only based on prior jobs that have been done in the same neighborhood. I also sent you pictures of houses we are working on in the same neighborhood currently. We even discussed our warranty of 10 years with a lifetime Owens Corning Duration Shingle. You responded with, “Would you be able to make an actual estimate sheet and email it?” with your email address included in the text. Since I already gave you a rough estimate as sated above, and you responded with you wanted an actual estimate sheet, I assumed it was ok to go to the house. There is absolutely no way to give an honest and accurate estimate without getting real measurements from the property. We did not go onto the property without first introducing ourselves to the homeowner and asking for permission. The homeowner was very nice and allowed us to get the measurements. I apologize for not reaching out prior to going to the house and for assuming that is what you were requesting. I wish you the best of luck and if you ever need help in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out, as we would be more than happy to help. Sincerely, Blue Ladder Management
Great job. Perfect clean up. Austin was tenacious getting the insurance company to accept the claim. After being denied the first time, Austin persevered and got it accepted the following year.Mar 9, 2020Blue Ladder Roofing's reply

Thank you Ron for your Great review!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our Pricing is very competitive in the Hamilton County Market. Typically we will come out and offer our free property inspection first to see how everything looks.(Relating to age, wear and tear, wind damage~missing shingles, possible hail damage.). We here at Blue Ladder Roofing will always let you know what we find after our inspection with either a video inspection or pictures. If it is an Insurance Claim and it is approved by your provider we work directly off of the Insurance Proceeds with the out of pocket being a deductible. If it is retail we will give you our best price based off of the complexity of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically we will come out and offer our free property inspection first to see how everything looks.(Relating to age, wear and tear, wind damage~missing shingles, possible hail damage.). After we come out and assess the situation and find the find the best route to take, we go onward into the process whether that be repairs, insurance claim for storm damage, or estimate of full replacement.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As the Owner, I have spent roughly 6 months installing commercial roofing projects. I have also spent several years in the Hamilton county area such as Noblesville, Carmel, Westfield, McCordsville, and Fishers providing property inspections and replacing roofing projects weather it be from storm damage or retail projects alike. This relates to what you may be looking before because I have met with most adjusters in the area. For your property, if not storm damaged, I am able to still show my knowledge on what may be wrong on the property and get the project taken care of.
