Hi! My name is Astrid. My yoga journey began nearly 15 years ago, and after experiencing firsthand the many ways yoga can support physical and mental well-being, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT-200) in 2023. Today, I have the privilege of sharing this practice with others. I offer personalized yoga sessions tailored to your unique needs, goals, and experience level. Whether you are looking to improve flexibility, build strength, reduce stress, develop mindfulness, or simply create a healthier routine, I will work with you to design a practice that supports your objectives both on and off the mat. My teaching approach combines traditional yoga practices with evidence-based principles from psychology and health science. I believe that yoga is a powerful tool for cultivating physical health, emotional resilience, and self-awareness through mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free environment where every body is welcome. No matter your age, background, or fitness level, yoga can be adapted to meet you where you are. I am a program manager and Astrid was available to teach yoga as a part of the program on Mental Health Awareness. She did an incredible job!! Many of the parents and kids came up to me after the program and were raving about how fantastic yoga was! I would definitely recommend!!

Astrid has been instrumental in helping me get some back relief. Enrolling in her personal yoga classes have been the best decision for my situation. Her yoga instructions are on point because she adapts her instructions to my needs. Astrid is a great listener and communicator. Some of my favorite sessions include exercises and poses which are helping strengthen my weak muscles, and the breathing and meditation techniques are helping me with cultivating a mindfulness lifestyle. Yoga is a new experience for me, but now I look forward to my personalze yoga classess with Astrid every week; given that I am noticing positive changes in my well-being. I had the opportunity to hired Astrid to facilitate a yoga class for the participants of my non profit. Most of these people have never experienced a Yoga class before, and I was a little nervous about it. However, Astrid did an amazing work, people felt connected to the class and followed all the instructions given to them. Participants shared positive feedback about the class and would love to have more opportunities like this. I highly recommend to work with Astrid, she is very professional and she did a great job with our participants.

I had one of my best yoga experiences with Astrid. It was a private session. I am a beginner and not familiar with all the names/poses but Astrid was very knowledgeable and helpful, she went at a slower pace and kept a nice flow. I definitely felt a deep stretch and felt very relaxed during and after our session. I would highly recommend Astrid!!

I had a great experience with Astrid! She taught my first ever yoga class and it was a wonderful experience. I was a little hesitant about yoga. I thought I would be judged, no one would take it seriously, and it would be a one time thing for me. But Astrid was very professional, very down to earth, and a great teacher. She made sure everyone was comfortable and if anyone had questions or needed help, she didn't hesitant to help. I have attended her classes ever since and won't miss one! Highly recommended!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I offer sessions for special events such as team-building activities, workshops, bachelorette parties, and more. If you are thinking long-term, my goal is to help you build a sustainable movement practice that supports your physical and mental well-being. To begin noticing meaningful changes in both body and mind, practicing around three times per week is generally recommended. To make this approach more accessible and sustainable, I offer one in-person private session per week, along with two additional sessions via Zoom, either live or recorded, so you can practice at a time that best fits your schedule.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We begin with a complimentary Zoom or phone consultation to get to know each other and discuss your goals, needs, and circumstances. We'll also review any relevant health conditions, physical concerns, or mental health challenges to ensure your practice is both safe and effective. This helps me create personalized sessions designed specifically for your goals and well-being.
