I have spent the last 16 years training service dogs. I do basic obedience and behavior modification. I have a 95 dollar consult fee. I call it my bite, run, jump, hurt fee. Ask about our packages. I love watching the dogs get it -- like a light bulb goes on and bang! I also love seeing the owners develop that strong bond that lasts forever. The dogs saved me years ago, now I get to save them by teaching them to be part of a forever family. We even train cats...yes cats are trainable and super smart!

Mary Lou went above and beyond for our training experience! She was extremely flexible with time, day of the week, and location to meet our scheduling needs. She consistently brought new ideas and resources (toys, treats, clickers, play pen) to work on a problem in a different way and brought her service-trained lab to help socialize our dog. She has the skills to work with aggressive and poorly socialized dogs. Training with Mary Lou improved our dog’s behavior immensely and also gave us the tools to understand our dog’s body language so we can prevent problems before they occur. I could always tell she cared a lot about my dog!

Mary Lou at Cody’s canine!!! We adopted a ferrel pup during the shut down in March. She had major stranger danger. She also was very intelligent, so we knew we needed to train her properly before she became boss dog of the house. lol! Mary Lou trained her about 15 commands in about 4 45 minute visits and was able to break her of her stranger danger behavior! Also, she was super patient, informative of dog behavior and EXTREMELY affordable!

We needed help blending dogs from 2 households: 1 older dog and 3 rambunctious middle aged dogs. This was exactly the solution we needed. She walked us through the initial rocky meetings, made astute observations of each dog’s behavior and the dynamics of the group, and coached us on how to handle things after she left. Within 2 weeks all 4 dogs and all the people were happy! Now we have a well-behaved pack that plays together, barks at cars together, and naps together.
