Thoughtful, insightful, patient and knowledgeable; Pastor Tom doesn't just listen and ask how you feel, but delves into deeper reasons that help explain why, identify patterns and provide feedback and tools that can be utilized day 1, and educates the individuals and couples regarding actionable items to put into use immediately. We started seeing Pastor Tom for pre-marital counseling and have continued regular visits throughout our 1st year of marriage and beyond to guide us and successfully navigate challenges. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I encourage the client to fully express what they are experiencing, then I begin to help them work through their struggles, one issue at a time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in Pastoral Ministry. I have over 40 years of experience as a pastor, working side by side with people, helping them overcome their struggles. I have been through a lengthy ordination process and am an ordained pastor. I am a Certified Gottman Method Therapist.
