FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I am continually learning new things. No one knows everything there is to know about their profession. I think we should all keep learning and improving ourselves in whatever we do.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't just look at price. Sure, price is important, but if they are charging a third of what other photographers are charging for the same thing, ask yourself why. Do a lot of research and look at examples of the photographers work to make sure that you share his/her style.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that clients knew that there is a lot of behind the scenes work that has to go on. A photographer doesn't only show up and take a picture. A good photographer prepares way in advance; gets a shot list ready, arrives early to scope out the best places to shoot, etc. There is also a lot of time consuming, late night, editing afterward the session is over to ensure that the photos are the best possible.
