Hired on Thumbtack

I reached out on Thumbtack to find someone who could come out somewhat urgently as I had lost power to my garage door opener, all exterior lights, landscape lighting, and exterior electrical outlets, along with one outlet that was in my mechanical room for my sump pump.

I had done my own investigating and it seems the GFCI in the garage linked to these tripped and I couldn't get it reset.

Within a few minutes, I heard from Zack and he was able to get out the following day and within 2 hours had trouble shoot through all the possible culprits. He was able to run through each and every point to rule out the cause, and sure enough, he found one and I would have never and thought of/known this would have been the issue.

He was very communicative, professional, and a very kind demeanor. I would highly recommend him for anything as he is a true Jack of All Trades!

To note, I had contacted an electrician from a well known company - who lacked in all of these areas and quoted me three times the price. I didn't have great confidence we would have this resolved, so am extremely happy I dug further and connected via Thumbtack with Zack.

Details: Fixture or outlet not working • Outlets • 8 - 10 feet (standard ceiling) • House • Owner

Zach is very professional and conscientious in his work. He seems very knowledgeable and bent over backwards to complete the work to my satisfaction. I hired him to fix a door frame, install a security light and pest-proof a roof vent.

Details: Yes, the location has an existing fan • Bath exhaust • 8 - 10 feet (standard ceiling)

As a single women I am cautious who comes into my home(and slightly skeptical). Thankfully Zach every step of the way proved to be knowledgeable, professional, authentic, communicated and helped me to understand everything. Nothing strange or off putting about him. I have had a few strange encounters from thumbtack. However, He also kept on the forefront of things the costs along the way. No surprises, which in this economy is important. Before he left I was trying to figure out other projects he could help me with!! I will without hesitation be reaching out to him with other projects that need to be done around my condo.
I would highly recommend having him at least come and do a quote and he will with out a doubt exceed expectations!!! Professionally and Financially!!

Projects in case:
Bathroom exhaust fans. One I tried doing myself and ended up throwing away all the parts and pieces. Zack was able to figure out what brand and get everything in there replaced. I so Grateful for his knowledge and expertise in this case!!

Details: Fixture or outlet not working • Ceiling fan • Under 8 feet (low ceiling) • Condo or apartment • Owner

I was looking for a handyman who could do small repairs around my house. I needed a couple of doorknobs and bolts replaced along with replacing a shower head and raising the water level in my toilet. Zac from Zerm came out. He arrived early and got straight to work! While installing my new bolts and knobs we ran ito alignment issues but he knew how to correct it. Now my door closes better than before! He charged me a pretty reasonable price. I will be using Zerm again
