I had a yellow jacket nest in the wall by my garage door. Shawn said it was very large, and he estimated there to be 1,000 yellow jackets. He treated the nest on a Saturday, which was within 48 hours of initially contacting him. He said if the treatment didn't remove all the yellow jackets, he would do a second application. Due to the size of the nest and the number of yellow jackets, a second application was needed. Shawn did not charge for the second application because he stated the fee I paid is for guaranteed work.
I 100% recommend hiring Shawn and Lawn Guardian.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's very difficult to accurately price pest control jobs with the limited criteria that Thumbtack provides. Once you contact me I will always ask more questions to determine the actual cost to you.
For instance, my wasp nest removal service starts at $100 for a small nest. Two-story hornet nests start at $200 and go up depending on many factors.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gathering information over the phone followed by an in person inspection.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of experience, plus formal education and training through Purdue extension.
