Scope of work: KDZ (DeAngelo Howard) has worked on multiple remodeling projects for me and my husband for more than 5 years including: 1) Rehab of our rental property to include removal of old kitchen cabinets, counters, and sink; remodeling of bathroom including reconfiguring the dry wall around the tub shower, installed new wall tiles, replacement of new sink and toilet; painting in the bathroom. This rehab project is still ongoing and will include kitchen and bathroom floor tile replacement and repainting of the whole house (2 bedroom bungalow). 2) Personal residence: removed and replaced bathroom sink and counter top, removed and installed new mirror cabinet; removed and installed new toilet. Created a sculptured ceiling, painted walls; removed old floor tiles and installed new tiles. 3) Reconstructed a 14'x20' attached deck, including replacing all of the 2x4 support lumber and deck flooring and rails. 4) Painted eves around the ranch-style house. In each case, KDZ performed each project in a thoroughly professional and satisfactory manner. Mr. Howard is highly creative and a very good worker; he has an excellent eye for designs and colors. He is highly recommended for the projects he has done for us; we will use him again.Jan 11, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For flooring and painting I charge per sq.ft other jobs I charge by the labor and size of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Go meet prospective client, see the project to get measurements and get a feel for the space. Provide client with my work background to access if I'm the correct contractor for the job.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started doing work with my uncles at 10 yrs of age. I started with things like mixing compound, cutguy, cleaning, hammering nails ect. I recently came back to this type of work 5 years ago.
