Mike did a stellar job! Needed unusual, handmade counter in tight space attached to challenging masonry work. He knew the right people to create steel brackets and installed it perfectly in the masonry work, and not only does it look great but it maintains integrity of the kitchen in a 100 year-old home. All for a fair price. Call Mike Riffe and you won't be disappointed!

Mike was pleasant, personable, and prompt. I had three items on my todo list for him to tackle. My attic stairs were broken, so we had discussed through email a new set of stairs. My outer wall garage light did not work so we also discussed the possibility of a new light fixture. I was good on both. I had a window with a crack in the glass, which he checked first. Turns out I need to contact the manufacturer regarding the piece of glass I need. Mike told me right away to keep him informed, and if they could not help me, to let him know and he would come up with another solution for me. He checked out the light and discovered that the socket was merely touchy, and by correcting a couple of things, I can stretch out the use of the fixture by making sure the bulb is adjusted to adapt to the lights quirkiness. As for the attic steps, Mike took one look at them and said he could repair them instead of having to replace them, which he promptly and efficiently did. His charge was fair and I was happy with the cost of all his attention to my items, and the repair(s) of my steps and light.
Obviously, Mike is integrity-based, capable and sincere in wanting to fix things properly. Otherwise I would have been paying for attic steps and a light fixture I didnt need. Ive already given his name to my closest friend, and I intend to call Mike back for other handyman needs. Hes the best! Please do not hesitate to call him, you will be happy you did.

I put out an ad for someone to run a water line for my fridge. Mike responded very quickly and also made me aware he did other jobs as well.
He was able to come over that evening,and take a look at my job. He made me aware I did not have the right part I needed and so we rescheduled for the following Monday.
He came out and found a few issues with the install due to the age of the house and placement of the water pipes.
He was an awesome problem solver and I felt alot of confidence with asking him questions.
As a woman, it is important to me to have someone I can call on to handle the jobs I can't or don't want to do, and have it be done professionally and economically.
Mike is wonderful and I will be calling on him regularly in the future!

I had a leak from the rough in assembly on a shower valve. Mike was the first to respond to my request and arrived ahead of his scheduled time. He did a professional job and had it completed in 2 1/2 hours which included a trip to the hardware to purchase fittings. I would recommend Mike for any of your plumbing needs and will use him for future jobs. His price is very fair and competitive.
