I hired Chris and his company to do a remodel job in my house which entailed laying new flooring wood and tile flooring throughout, drywall work, backsplash, new tile shower, and installing bathroom sink, kitchen sink, and dishwasher among some items typical with a remodel. A job that Chris told me would take just a few days ended up taking weeks to finish. He then pulled his crew off (which sounds like its typical) to start a new job before finished with my job. I lived through construction from October through January and they probably worked the equivalent of 6 weeks. Chris is a terrible communicator but a great salesperson. He sets his crew up for failure by failing to communicate to them the entire scope of the job or having them prepared to start a job day 1 ready to go. My brand new shower was supposed to have a built in shelf - it does not. I had to explain to Chris how to install both a dishwasher and a garbage disposal after both were done incorrectly, yet he pushed back. The reviews seem great for carpet cleaning services, but I would be VERY CAUTIOUS to hire them for remodel work. 2 stars for the work that was completed being adequate and the crew themselves being nice guys, otherwise it would be 1 star.

We are always welcoming of constructive criticism and will evaluate our communication strategies going forward. This project began with a simple flooring take-up/install. While we were happy to complete additional work, we had to juggle an overlap of previously scheduled projects with your additional work. We are always optimistic, and hope to complete projects as soon as possible. However, estimated durations are just that, estimates. Many factors can add time to a project length. Additionally, we encountered several roadblocks during the project that added to the overall duration. Some of those included discovering cement as opposed to traditional subfloor in the hallway, and having to address and correct the electrical issues in the kitchen before we could do our contracted work. We appreciate your business and truly do appreciate your feedback.

Arrived late but did call, 2 hour job turned into 4 hrs d/t malfunction of equipment w/o backup, carpet quite wet when finished. We were not informed that there was an additional charge to move furniture. When I questioned if we could get 'scotch guard' type protection, we were told that it need to be included in original order-never informed of that. The furniture moving fee (which is when I learned of the additional charge) was removed when I requested compensation for the delay in finishing and I paid with a check when the technicians left. I received an invoice to pay 2 weeks later, called to inform that I had paid, apology received, corrected paid invoice received. I was trying to support a local company and I liked there rating but I will not use them again. Not sure why this was such a disappointing experience.

With that being said, you truly caught us on an off day due to equipment malfunctions and accidents and oversights do happen. We are a small, family-owned business with less than 10 employees and sometimes, invoices don't get marked as paid. As you said in your review, we apologized and corrected the issue.
