Jeff was great. I can't say enough good this about this hard working man. Jeff contacted me for repairing a wood floor in our family room/hearth room. The previous owners laid new hard wood down but only took the wood to the hideous built in bookcase/entertainment center. My solution was to rip out the cabinets and patch the floor. Like most home improvements, nothing goes the way it's supposed too. Jeff was great at solving the problem with the floor and stayed late to finish the project before he went home. He came back two days later to finish putting up the trim and modifying the fireplace mantle. I'm so very pleased with his workmanship that I'm going to ask him back for other areas in the home. He does a great job and so respectful to you, the home and your thoughts.

Jeff was a very nice guy and before being paid showed up on time and eager to do the work. The problem was after the work was completed. There were a couple of items that needed to be completed and Jeff gave me his word he would be out to complete those task. We made the fatal mistake of paying him for the work even though he was not 100% finished. He told us he would be out in 2 days to finish up which was no big deal. He did not call or text to let me know he wasn't going to be out and when I texted him he then responded he wasn't going to be able to come out he would be there the next day. The next day same thing, did not show up and no call or text. I reached out to him and had another reason he could not make it after I initiated the text once more. He then said he would be out over the weekend I told him to call or text me a day and time to make sure we would be there. Sunday night came still no text or call. I ended up doing the work myself. As for the work, I felt like he was rushing to get it done in one evening so he could get paid. I had a couple of lose steps and didn't fill in the holes on the newel post after mounting it. I then found holes in the railing where he drilled them incorrectly and did not patch the holes. I have other projects I am planning on doing and will be looking elsewhere. I was hoping he was a stand up guy that you could trust what he said but I then realized that wasn't the case. I was hoping to write a good review but unfortunately this wasn't the case. At no time was any mention of a funeral. Sunday evening when I reached out still no mention of this. It wasn't until the negative review did the mention of a funeral come up. Had he mentioned the funeral I would have been understanding but once again this comes down to lack of communication.

It varies on type of project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send a request to meet with customer. Once we meet and look at project I will look at every aspect of job and go over it with them. Then when we have everything we need that is required to complete project. I will make a contract for the project and will be signed by both parties. Come in complete project to customers satisfaction
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in blue print reading and construction trades. Also 20 years on the job experience. Have ran my own company for over 10 years.
