My unique blend of connection, compassion and understanding makes the efficiency a bonus. A typical week might see me organizing garages, closets, downsizing and unpacking...but my real delight is bringing stress relief and joy. I value my clients as people, listening and guiding thinking and feelings as we address the stuff together. I had a tons of boxes to unpack that had been lying around for weeks because I felt so overwhelmed by them. Wendy LITERALLY came to my rescue! In 3 hours, she unpacked nearly 5 boxes of clothes - all while giving me suggestions on how I could keep my things organised even after she left. What helped the most was the emotional boost she gave me by helping me talk through my feelings as I unpack boxes full of old memories and stuff that brought up many different feelings in me. She was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants help unpacking/organising/downsizing!

this woman changed my life! i thought i would never get my closets organized and she came and did two in one day took her a little less then 2 hours i couldn't believe how she did it and influenced me to organized the rest of my home she is worth EVERY penny if you need a grand organizer look no further!

From our very first phone conversation, Wendy put me completely at ease. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
General pricing:
$85/hour for everyday households
$125/hour for hoarding situations.
Appointments are a 3 hour minimum. Payment is due the day of service.
24 hour notice required to avoid $100 cancellation fee per organizer
Ask about discounts available: veterans, seniors and nonprofit employees.
Package pricing and gift certificates available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. A brief phone talk gives us a glimpse as to how well we will understand each other and work together. If another organizer is better suited to the work requested, I like to relay that up front.
2. I send an email to confirm all details about your appointment so that we are on the same page.
3. I show up with a great attitude, ready to tackle your project!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My BS/MA are education/curricular related, which provide a foundation for me to better grasp your goals and the challenges involved in meeting them. Years of counseling training (*not* licensed) and experiences mean that my approach includes great depths of compassion, consideration and even negotiating skills.
I served on the OC Task Force on Hoarding -- the first of its kind nationwide -- before hoarding was " a thing" and I love working with, not just the stuff, but getting to know people behind the stuff. My every client is valuable and talented and offers unique giftings to the world. My task is to free up the tangible hurdles that interrupt their giftedness.
