- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad was diagnosed with a herniated disk in his back my first year of college. The doctor said she could fix his back without surgery, but he needed to lose 20 lbs before she could do the procedure. I took it upon myself to design fitness program to help him lose the weight and increase strength while at the same time avoiding further injury to his back.
