I found Michael Lee through a pet care app early in 2020 when I needed services in a
personal emergency for my 15-year-old Papillon, Noble. Noble is my family and we have been together 14 years, since 2007, just before I retired from 30 years in government and human services consulting and administration.
Michael's profile header was "Your Dog's New Best Friend" and that is exactly what Michael (Mikey) became to Noble very quickly.
I used Mikey for walking, drop in visits, feeding and overnight sitting with Noble. To say I was merely satisfied with Michael's services would be a disservice to Michael and a great understatement. I trusted and trust Michael with Noble and my home.
Our professional relationship began with an extensive first home visit by Michael who
gave generously of his time and even accompanied me and Noble on a neighborhood walk with us trading off handling Noble between the two of us. I was extremely impressed with his professional preparation for working with Noble and seeing that he was safe and under control in this residential (but still urban) area.
Before the walk, I came to realize through our conversation that Michael loved animals and was a person with a kind, empathetic and loving heart toward canines.
He discussed his experience, some 15 years, with a variety of breeds and ages and particularly had expertise and compassion for senior and medically challenged dogs.
Noble is still a fairly energetic 15 year old with some arthritis and vision impairment from cataracts. He has always been a highly intelligent but a shy, one-person-at-a-time dog. Michael knew exactly how to approach and build a trusting relationship with gentle firmness Noble responded quickly.
I take great pleasure in recommending Michael Lee for his pursuit of any career working with animals, particularly canines. Michael is intelligent, well spoken, kind, empathetic, compassionate, and professional in caring for my beloved Noble. Now he is my Noble's new best friend and mine as well.
