- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's very important that my clients feel at ease and are comfortable working with me. I will assess their abilities on the first lesson. I can work with beginners with no experience I with advanced pianists/singers that just need fine tuned. I pride myself on giving special attention to each and every client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked in the IPS School System for 25 years as a Music Teacher for all ages, K-12. I received several awards while teaching, including Teacher of the Year (4 times), The Golden Apple Award and The Excellence Award from the Education Foundation. I received my Undergraduate degree and Masters degree in Music Education from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. I was awarded the Outstanding Senior Award upon graduation. I also have a Doctorate Degree from Great Commission Theological Seminary, Bowling Green, KY, in Religious Education.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with children as young as 5 and as old as 68!!! It is my honest opinion that your'e never too old or to young too enjoy music lesson!
