- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’d say art and creativity is genetic for me. My grandma, self taught at the young age of 3yrs old. She painted in the nursery at her church and sold some art. Same with my mom only did it as a hobby. My sisters worked in a photo shop. My brother and cousins were authors and illustrators for kid’s books. I was always in the art room in high-school. I was team leader for auctioning off kids furniture to assisting with raising money for our art department and did a beautiful silk screening of Mary for the Catholic Dioceses. Senior year I had about 3 art classes. Won art scholarships and awards. I also was runner up for a scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago. I ended up changing my career paths.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had to end my other professional career due to the the severity of this pandemic. I really enjoy doing multi media type art - photography, videography, and painting. I recently got married. Wish I did hire a real professional videographer along side of my photographer for my wedding.
