My 100+ year old carriage doors started to fall apart. This is the main entrance for one of my residents. Dan responded quickly and recognized the urgency of my repair. He moved me up on the schedule and fixed the door quickly. He arrived on time. He had everything he needed to make the repair. No wasted time with extra trips. His truck was the most organized of any contractor/handyman I've hired. All his tools and materials were neatly arranged, even while he was working.

Dan was wonderful to work with! He is so conscientious about doing a great job. He cleaned up as he went and there wasn’t a speck of dust after he was done sanding. He’s really good at handyman tasks even though his heart lies in woodworking. He’s making me some custom steps for my dog so she can get on the bed which we talked about while he was working on a bunch of unexciting projects I had for him. He installed several shelves in the closet and laundry room, installed four swing gates, fixed ceiling fans that has been poorly installed, fixed a built-in lazy susan, hung a bathroom cabinet, and installed several smoke detectors. He is a perfectionist and is meticulous in his work. I definitely recommend Dan and will be using him again!

I will look no further for a handyman. It’s a big relief knowing I now have a professional that is honest, fair and trustworthy.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I need to charge a visit fee, most home service folks do this, travel time and tolls need to be accounted for, these can be negotiated according to job scope and travel distance - prices quoted are a starting point.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I lay out out pricing and availability, I then work to understand the project - open and clear communication is key

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked beside my father since I was a young lad, as he showed me how to fix almost anything- forever grateful
