- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My wedding packages start at $750. For all other shoots, I work off of a flat $75/hr shooting cost. So if you want to do a family session and shoot for an hour, your cost will be $75. All sessions located outside of a 50 mile range will have travel fees included.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down with them and discuss exactly what they are looking for. What style they are looking to convey, if there are certain things they do not like, what it is they are expecting me to produce for them.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The first person who noticed my art and asked me to take photos for them really got me into it. I loved taking photos as a hobby, but didn't ever have the confidence to go anywhere with it. The gratitude I received from my first client, and their encouragement to continue made up my mind. I have fun with the process and absolutely love what I do. To not pursue it would have resulted in me never truly being happy with what I was doing.
