I want to give a reply to her review that is as honest and reasonable as possible. On the very first day I was a little late because I was under the weather. However, I contacted her immediately to inform her I would be 30 minutes late. She told me that was fine. That should not be held against me if I was told that she understood & it was no problem. Prior to cleaning, we had a consultation to discuss what was expected of each of us. She said she would supply all the cleaning supplies and the products. When I arrived she didn't supply me with anything but paper towels. I asked if she had any more cleaning materials and she said what she had given me would suffice. As everyone knows, doing any job, in any profession without the proper equipment/tools will make the quality decrease. During the consultation I gave her a list of everything that I would clean. She agreed to the list. That list does not mention most of the things she is upset about, such as making the beds, blinds, and tooth brush holders. It's not fair to me & my reputation if we agree upon something, then later, the expectations are changed and never communicated to me, and a bad review is posted. Lastly, after cleaning the house, without the proper supplies, I asked her multiple times to inspect the house to make sure she was completely satisfied with everything. She said everything looked good and proceeded to make further appointments for me to come clean her house. I ALWAYS ask this of my clients so IF there is something I might have missed, I can fix it while I am there and can retain the client's business. When I'm told everything looks great and the client makes future appointments, that means they're are very pleased with my work; which is what she told me. I'm a very reasonable person. If anyone ever wants changes to what is on their cleaning list, we can amend that on my next visit & I would be happy to accommodate them. But to be fair, those things must be communicated so that both the client & employee can continue to have a happy working relationship!
