SugarEllas was hired to cater a graduation party for 125 guests at our home. We asked for a shabby-chic party and she did a fabulous job with the decorating. It was exactly what we were wanting. She showed up on time with a staff of 5 and got to work setting up. We received many compliments on the decor and the food. My daughter's friends said that it was the best graduation party they had ever atttended. Many asked for her name and number for future catering needs. It was a hotter day than expected and we did run out of drinks and a few small items were forgotten, but it was not noticable to our guests and she adjusted our bill. Overall, I would say Kim and her staff did a fabulous job, the food was amazing, and I would hire her again!

Beautiful Food, Beautiful setup, Had sooo many compliments! The display pieces were amazing and finished the look! Could eat her Apple pancakes every day, and the Chocolate shoes....WOW!!! You have to see them to believe them! Thank you SugarEllas for making the baby shower a party that I will never forget!

Kim gave us excellent service right up front. She was very responsive to our questions and she even did a tasting for my parents and mother-in-law before we signed the contract. We were planning from California so all of our contact was over phone or e-mail. She did a good job responding to e-mails as the date got closer. The food tasted amazing on our Wedding Day. We had the chicken almondine and the acorn squash with wild rice for a veggie option for the dinner. Her staff was wonderful and everything looks great on the day of. We rented the linen's and place settings for her too and those turned out excellent. Thanks to you and your staff for helping to make our Wedding Day special!

Working with Kim at SugarEllas was a wonderful experience from start to finish! When we first spoke, I needed to organize a dinner for 70 people in a short amount of time and she did not hesitate to assure me they could tackle the job. It felt like I was speaking with a friend and Kim took the time to get to know the who, what, where, when, why of our event so she knew how to best fit our needs. When the event got pushed back, SugarEllas was extremely flexible and we had more time to plan. She provided a menu that we tweaked just a little here and there and not only provided a "kid-friendly option" just a few days out but made sure the kids were the first to have access to that option before everyone else dug in. And the food was absolutely wonderful. I was concerned because our group consisted of 40 college-aged guys (and they can eat!) in addition to 30 other people but there was more than enough food to go around! SugarEllas prepared dishes and offered a variety that appealed to everyone in our group and the desserts in particular were absolutely divine. I was extremely impressed with the SugsrEllas team during set-up and tear-down. They have that system down! And grateful for the very timely response to phone calls and emails. Looking forward to working with Kim at SugarEllas again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to chat! We are chatters as we love what we do! Whether it's with a phone call or a face to face meet, we get every detail down to create a most spectacular event for you and your guests!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been baking and cooking for the last 30 plus years. A lot of recipes belonged to my grandmothers and a lot are created by myself and our staff. We stay up to date on the latest trends and are always creating new and unique displays.
