If I could give Lyz more than five stars, I absolutely would! From the moment I sat in her chair, she made me feel completely at ease—a rare feat, considering I’m usually not a fan of having my makeup done. But Lyz has a special way of making you feel comfortable, heard, and, most importantly, beautiful. Leading up to my wedding day, I was a bit nervous about my makeup. I wanted to look like the best version of myself, not overly done or unrecognizable. Lyz listened so attentively to my preferences, asked thoughtful questions, and truly took the time to understand my vision. She didn’t just apply makeup—she worked her magic, enhancing my natural features in the most breathtaking way. The final look was everything I hoped for and more: radiant, elegant, and perfectly me. Beyond her exceptional talent, Lyz exudes warmth and kindness. She has this calming presence that instantly puts you at ease, which is exactly what you need on your wedding day. For my wedding, I decided to plan everything myself. Unfortunately, make up wasn't something I planned too well and ended up in a pinch a week or two before my wedding. Luckily, I was able to get ahold of her and she had availability and boy was I so grateful. I don't even know where to start, first of all she was incredibly professional, kind, and patient as she had to sometimes stop so I could answer questions as my bridal party set the wedding up. She had multiple clean bushes, mascara sticks, and q-tips so cleanliness and organization was a priority. She also rolled with the idea of using my bridal colors rather than the normal brown bridal look when it came to my make up. I also appreciated that she let some freckles show rather than completely cover them up. It's something about myself I really love. The first words out of my mouth when I saw myself were "holy shit!" I've had my makeup professionally done before but she brought it to a whole other level that day. I've included one before photo to compare the beautiful application.

The delay in my review is of no reflection on Lyz. She was a pleasure to work with and I am so glad she was able to work her magic with my crew. After doing research and hearing great reviews for Lyz I knew she was the one for us. Our group made up of friends, family and a indecisive bride made decision-making sometimes a struggle. Lyz met with me on Zoom and walked me through ideas for my friend’s special day. She had me share with her colors for the wedding and our dresses. She even gave recommendations for hairstylists too. On the day of the wedding, she gave each bridesmaid their own special attention. We went for a soft-glam look and bride asked for a neutral lip. Everyone glowed and we felt like we weren’t wearing any makeup. Lyz worked her magic and made the bags underneath my eyes disappear. I don't think I have ever glowed like that before in my life. Our bride was running a little late due to a hair mishap. Lyz was understanding and helped to calm down our bride. The bride looked amazing and she was happy. Lyz even helped the bridesmaids with the bride’s hair. All of the bridesmaids were like where did you find Lyz. They felt great as well and happy that Lyz was our MUA. She is an all-star. Whenever, I get married she will be the first person I will be reaching out too. I can continue to talk about how great she is let’s just say I can’t wait to work with Lyz again.
