For my wedding, I decided to plan everything myself. Unfortunately, make up wasn't something I planned too well and ended up in a pinch a week or two before my wedding. Luckily, I was able to get ahold of her and she had availability and boy was I so grateful. I don't even know where to start, first of all she was incredibly professional, kind, and patient as she had to sometimes stop so I could answer questions as my bridal party set the wedding up. She had multiple clean bushes, mascara sticks, and q-tips so cleanliness and organization was a priority. She also rolled with the idea of using my bridal colors rather than the normal brown bridal look when it came to my make up. I also appreciated that she let some freckles show rather than completely cover them up. It's something about myself I really love.
The first words out of my mouth when I saw myself were "holy shit!" I've had my makeup professionally done before but she brought it to a whole other level that day. I've included one before photo to compare the beautiful application.

Lyz did an AMAZING job on my makeup for a friends wedding. I am completely hopeless at making up my face and am so glad I found Lyz to help! She arrived at the venue, which was a tad difficult to find, and got right to work. I would 100% recommend Lyz for any make up needs!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught MUA, I’ve worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years.
MAC Cosmetics certified artist 7 of those years as one of their lead artist, artistry trainer and Store Manger in Indianapolis, Indiana.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have ALWAYS been into the arts.
At some point in college I realized makeup was just another way to paint and that’s when the obsession began! I absolutely LOVE makeup artistry & all that goes into it.
Always something new to learn, always a fun trend to try. I truly love what I do!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I enjoy making every occasion special, my favorite part of my job! I’ve worked with a very wide range of clients, from school age girls getting ready for their first dance to the great grandmother of the bride to prepping artists for video/photo shoots.
All different ages, races, sexes & occasions but everyone always feels beautiful & perfectly at home with me during their appointments. I love spending this time with my clients !
