I needed to have 3 Ikea kitchen cabinets assembled & hung on the wall as a floating credenza below our wall mounted tv. Cesar was on-time & professional. He cut out the back of the center cabinet to allow access to the electrical outlet & HDMI cables. I highly recommend Cesar & will contact him for my future projects.

I was in need of a toilet installation before the weekend and Walter at Eagle Home Improvements (Hi Solutions) was able to schedule me for Friday morning with Christopher. Christopher was a total pro, performing the removal of the old toilet and installation of the new toilet without a hitch. He was engaging and provided advice about a few questions I had regarding the toilet components and future maintenance requirements. He caulked the bowl and cleaned up after completing the job. I would definitely recommend Eagle Home Improvements to anyone.

Jesse did a fabulous job with my less than normal carpet patch and install in my basement guest room. He hid the seam beautifully and I could not have asked for better! Will use for future jobs if he is willing to travel back to our area. We really appreciated that he went out if his normal service area for our small job. Thanks again, Jesse!

We needed to have a shower door installed. This was the last item in a larger home remodel project. We asked the team who did the remodel but their price was higher than we were willing to pay at this point. We got a couple of other quotes which were all over the place. I had used thumbtack only once previously but never hired anyone. I thought I'd give it a try. Randy gave us a good quote that we were satisfied with. He didn't have any reviews on thumbtack so we were hesitant, but he provided references and explained that he just joined thumbtack. I spoke to a pro poetry manager and she praised Randy's work saying that he does all the work on their many properties. We have it a shot. We exchanged a couple of emails and phone calls prior to the actual work day. We weren't sure which door to order but with his advice we finally got it and scheduled the installation. Randy's worker was very prompt and thorough. The shower stall have him some trouble since it was porcelain tile, but he managed to get the screws in. Unfortunately the instructions for the door were confusing and the final few steps weren't done properly. I wasn't home when the installation was finished but when I returned and noticed it didn't look right I called the door manufacturer and they explained what was wrong. I called Randy who was very accommodating and his worker came the next morning and fixed the issue. They were both curteous. In the end we got the door installed within our budget. Our work in the house is complete now, but if we need anything else done in the future I will certainly ask Randy again for a quote.

Orlando and crew were an absolute pleasure to have installing our granite countertops. Measurements were taken on a Tuesday, new countertops were installed on Friday. You can't beat that turnaround. Fast, professional and courteous. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our new granite countertops. Thank you "Thinking of Granite" for your EXCELLENT craftsmanship.

The measurements were obviously off. The first time Deco installer(s) came, they installed the counters absolutely crooked and damaged 3 of my walls. Deco came back to fix the counters, but still did not repair the damage or use caulk (there were half inch gaps between the counter and the walls in many spots, as the walls aren't perfectly straight) and the spaces that didn't line up exactly around the sink were not sealed against water. They sent a worker back out who stated he would not repair the damage because "that's what happens when you install counters" and that the reason there were gaps is because my walls are not straight. (Why did they not use shims? Why was it not caulked and sealed properly around the sink and the edges? Why did they think it was okay to leave it like that?) The owner called after I sent him more photos and offered to send someone out for free to fix the damage, and install back splash to cover the gaps up. The owner was very responsive when I sent him photos of the issues and said he wanted to make sure I was happy. The person he sent out to repair the damage was an outside contractor, and that guy did a wonderful job of repairing and fixing what Deco left as a "finished" job and said repeatedly what was wrong with Deco's installation work, and what should have been done during the installation and how it should never have been left like it was. It looked absolutely incredible when he left. Impeccable, meticulous work by the outside contractor. Deco then came to install the back splash. As of now, it's pulling away from the walls, it is not sealed, it's not caulked properly and there was debris left on my counter tops. Even though they did substandard work, they demanded that I pay them in full. I now have to hire someone else to fix their mistakes. Deco should be ashamed and mortified with this type of workmanship - everyone I've shown photos to has said this is shoddy, unacceptable work (including other contractors, maintenance people and various home improvement store workers) and couldn't believe that anyone would think this type of job was acceptable. I'm telling everyone I know to stay away from this company and why. The pictures will show the workmanship of the counters originally, after they were "fixed", the impeccable work that was done to seal and caulk and repair the damages caused by the installation, and the poor work done to install the back splash.

My husband and I struck gold when we found Sam Axton! We were referred to Sam by a friend after interviewing 8 differrent companies to update our 1910 master bathroom. Sam installed a beadboard ceiling, installed cabinets and reworked a wall cabinet, took care of plumbing, new toilets and sinks, plastered the walls and put in crown moulding with the most beautiful mitered corners. He has also taken care of trim on outside of the house. Our bathroom is beautiful! Sam is honest, and takes great pride in his workmanship. Something hard to find these days. He works fast and listens to what you need. We will be having him back for our next project.

Really enjoyed working with Robert. He was extremely responsive from the moment I submitted my requirements online through completion of the project. This was a rather unique installation (custom wine cellar door) due to the fact that I had not originally purchased all the right materials from the manufacturer. Robert went above and beyond (calling vendors, visiting stores and skowering the internet) to track down the right materials to make this project successful and was very accommodating to my schedule when coordinating to do work at the house. He is detail oriented and has a work ethic that is hard to come by now a days. I highly recommend him and will most definitely use him again in the future.

I was looking into remodeling my powder room into something that would wow my guests and with the help of Robert and Joe I was able to do just that. Joe installed glass tiles on the accent wall and installed my new toilet and sink. In addition to painting and installation of my new light fixture and mirror. Joe is a very hard worker and good at his craft. My mirror arrived later than the rest of the items and Joe came on a Saturday to install. We were so appreciative of his dedication. The mirror ended up being too big and Joe came back AGAIN to install the new mirror. Amazing customer service. Robert is very responsive and a true gentleman. I really enjoyed working with this team and will be granting them my future projects.

Tim was a pleasure to work with. He responded within minutes to my job posting for new baseboards and quarter rounds on Thumbtack and immediately scheduled a quote for the job. The estimate didn't take long and he was able to get the job done the following week. The work his team did was excellent and quick. The price was good. I plan on using T and H Services in the future as repairs or updates in my home are needed.

I was looking to get a built-in desk and bookshelf installed and Patrick was absolutely the person to go to. He patiently talked through my plans with me, which went through multiple iterations. He was the best kind of thought partner, which was exactly what I needed, and executed my plans perfectly. He took care to make sure everything was to the highest standard, and the final product is incredible. He was also incredibly honest - I had gotten burned by a contractor before and he went out of his way to make sure the experience, and payment, was positive for me. He's wonderful, and I'm looking forward to working with him again to get other built-ins installed. I can't recommend him enough.

I have no idea where to start! Erick and his team were some of the most professional, friendly, sincere, considerate, hardworking, talented folks I have ever had the pleasure of working with. When someone has a contractor in and out of their home, for a few weeks (we had some surprises lurking in the walls), you want someone you can trust and feel comfortable with. I feel like Erick, Rony Jr. and Rony Sr. became a part of our family and when they left, I cried. I interviewed multiple contractors, Your Contractor was one of the firsts, and throughout the whole process of selecting a contractor, Erick's personality and ideas just stuck! For our project, we wanted a very specific color of gray cabinetry, Erick stuck it out with us and searched on our behalf for the perfect cabinet...BEFORE we even signed the contract! He was there for any question I threw at him from what type of garbage disposal, an instant-hot faucet, radiators, lighting, magnetic knife rack, floating shelves, etc. He was just a text message away. He had great ideas and resources to help you find the right product at the right price. We had a tricky project. It was a kitchen addition that had little to no backup of when it was added onto our 1935 house. Our floors had to be grinded down by 2-4 inches in some areas just to make it ready for self leavening compound so we could install a tile floor. Surprise! This was a major set back as we had no idea that it was that uneven, but Erick took care of us. Our radiator had a broken valve and Erick did the research on how to best mitigate and correct that. Surprise! We had to reroute a ton of wiring, junction boxes and just make our electrical system safe! Surprise! We had a catycorner range/oven situation that Erick had to somehow work out...and he did, it's gorgeous. He tiled the equivalent of 80-some-sqft of backsplash. We knew that our project would be complicated, tricky and have some surprises for us and it never phased Erick. We also had some extra side work completed by Erick and his team. We had central AC installed a few months ago which left gaping holes in our drywall. In an old 1935 house, the drywall (like the floors) are uneven and old, you can't even tell that we patched massive holes all over the place. The paint is expertly matched too. Erick "Just wants to make you happy" which I think he said to me at least once a day, everyday and we are VERY happy. He also made certain that our cat stayed safe throughout the whole process. It was a worthwhile investment not only in a gorgeous, functioning, pinterest worthy, ChipnJoannaGainesesqe kitchen but in a delightful opportunity to get to know Erick. I can't wait to get started on our next project with him. I HIGHLY recommend Erick and Your Contractor. Give them a chance, be honest with him, show him pictures and work with him on a design that you will fall in love with and he will deliver! If you are considering Erick and want to talk to a reference- ask him to contact me - I am happy to share our story! I wanted to add photos of the before and after! The first picture was it, a stove, three cabinets, dishwasher and a fridge, now we have so many cabinets that I need to go shopping to fill and a perfect work triangle. Anything awesome looking...well that's Erick's work :) (Ignore the windows, they are ancient and we didn't want to redo them so please don't judge Erick on those - totally on us!) Erick - I know you will read this and I just want to say again - THANK YOU so much for everything. I miss you already! Appliances: Samsung suite, gas range, dishwasher, hood, four door french refrigerator Sink: Krause Sink, Brizo Faucet and soap dispenser, Insinkerator disposal and Instant-Hot Hot water dispenser Papertowel Holder: Etsy Floating Shelves: Colonial Hardwood for the boards, Amazon for floating shelf brackets Magnetic Knife Rack: Wayfair Cabinets: Marsh Cabinet Brand, Door Savannah and color Storm

This is the second job 5th Gen has done for us (the first was a kitchen remodel two years ago), and the experience has been excellent. These folks are craftsmen. The custom cabinets and shelves are beautiful, like a high quality piece of furniture. The individuals doing the work are very pleasant and have been careful to consult us before making any decisions about the work. This work was largely in our living room, and they cleaned up completely at the end of each day so that we could use the room in the evening. We woud hire them again in the future, and probably will. It took a while to get the job started as their schedule is full, but no different from other contractors, in our experience.

David from Evolve did a great job assembling and mounting a medicine cabinet and another bathroom cabinet on the wall, and moved an outlet. He found solutions to issues he encountered, kept me informed, and gave me options. He was very punctual and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him/Evolve remodeling.

Steve was super-efficient with most of the tasks he came to do, e.g. fixing a desk lamp, reinstalling a handle on a bathroom cabinet, affix hooks for curtain tiebacks, etc. He charges a fixed amount per hour, so his ability to work rapidly and do the job well was very welcome. On the last task--fixing a (relatively new) salt-grinder the handle of which had refused to grind/turn--things proved harder than both he and I thought. It took a long time and yet it remained unfixed after all was said and done. It may have been better to just let it go much earlier (thus saving me some money) but I guess the hope was that he would be able to fix it at the end of the day. But generally I am satisfied with how nearly all of the the handyman tasks went. One PS note: I had no problems with the issue many mentioned, re him not showing up etc. However, I did raise this point I saw in other reviews with him upfront, and he explained that he doesn't set appointments to show up without speaking to the client. Easy enough, I spoke with him and all went well on this front.

Just thought I'd give credit where credit is due. I don't normally give reviews, but thought I should in this case, as the whole project went so smoothly. This has not always been the case for us when hiring contractors in the past. Shane is hard working and dependable. He has many years experience in a great number of construction / contracting fields. We recently had him do some work for us in a commercial recording studio, installing an antique door, (antique for aesthetics) and the end result was great The door and header above are level, look neat and tidy, and finish and trim are done to a high standard. Couldn't be happier. I might also add, that Shane's prices were fair and reasonable, and throughout the project he conducted himself in a professional manner. Shane also paid respect to his surroundings, in so far as nothing was damaged in the studio, and he took care in cleaning up after himself when the work was completed. He also kept the work area tidy while the work was in progress. We will be calling Shane in the future, as we have some outdoor trim, fascia, and soffit that are in need of repair. To cut to the chase... I highly recommend Shane if you are in need of any sort of renovations, or need help with any other construction related upgrades or repairs.

Simply put - Deck Wonders provided us with excellent service and we look forward to hiring them for future flooring and/or deck needs. In fact --- after having our tile installed by Deck Wonders, we hired them for a second project installing beadboard in our laundry room. Deck Wonders is a great company to hire because they are affordable, communicate their schedule and needs properly, do the job right, and finish within a reasonable amount of time. All of these reasons were evident to my wife and I after Deck Wonders completed the initial tiling job we hired them to do. As with most home improvements, some issues don't become evident until after you pay the service provider. At that point you're either screwed because the company won't come back to look at whatever is wrong, or you'll have to shell out more of your own money to find a new contractor to correct the first contractor's mistakes. With our tiling job, we found a few issues with the transition strips between the carpet and the newly laid tile --- namely the corners on the strips were coming up. We notified Deck Wonders and they were able to come out a few days later and properly fix the transition strips at no added expense to us. What made their return visit even sweeter was that we asked Deck Wonders for a quote to install beadboard in our laundry room during this visit --- not only were they able to provide a very competitive quote but they started and finished the installation of the beadboard that afternoon! That alone left my wife and I very impressed.

Learned about Curtis' company through work he did for a neighbor who was extremely satisfied with his work. They allowed us to see the work he'd done on their master bath and it looked great. We had our townhouse kitchen renovated by them. Curtis provided a very comprehensive estimate which detailed some items we hadn't considered such as daily clean-up, the payment schedule, and how receipts would be handled for materials purchases. His estimate came in at the middle of 4 estimates we received for tear-down of the original kitchen, new cabinet installation, tile floors and backsplash with some electrical and plumbing thrown in. He was able to accommodate an earlier start date when the cabinets we ordered were available earlier then expected by 2 weeks. He and his 2 assistants worked efficiently and more importantly they took care when doing the demo (and throughout the project) to protect the hallway floors and other areas of the house from dust, dirt and debris. They worked very efficiently and by the end of the 2nd day were starting on laying the tile floor. Cabinet installation went smoothly and he was kind enough to point out a couple items which we needed to report back to the cabinet makers regarding some bowing. Overall the project took approximately 9 business days from start to finish with a few small visits to finish up hardware, trim and reinstallation of the dishwasher once the counters and sink folks (separate company) finished their piece. His 2 assistants were equally pleasant and made us feel comfortable so we could ask questions as needed. We plan to use Curtis' company Oddjobs.pro again for upcoming bathroom renovations and some other work we need done.

I had three interior rooms painted and some shelving done in an extra room. It all looks amazing! They are friendly, professional, and clean. They clearly take pride in all they do. And their prices were very acceptable. I definitely give them a thumbs up and will most definitely use them again and have already recommended them to several friends!
