I’m one of those people who has to go and see the place before I use/buy any kinds of service. My work , home- life has kept me busy and I haven’t had the chance to fix my phone screen. Trust me ! My screen needed to be repaired , it’s been more than a year . Yep ! It was so bad that most of the time I was ghost typing. Sigh ! Phone guru came to my rescue . I was skeptic at first but then I read that their technician would come to my location. So, I gave it a try ! I booked the appointment online, a representative called to confirm the time and place right after. Simon who was my technician called me 30 min prior and he repaired my phone ! Yayyy! My phone is good as new .The process was so simple and I loved it . I would highly recommend it . Thank you Phoneguru :)

Before I met Marcus Reed I had been caught in cell phone hell. Phone after phone, all Samsung Galaxy, I purchased had to be returned for one reason or another. My fourth purchase was a Blu Life View. They're a lot cheaper than a Galaxy and for good reason. They aren't any good. But then I gave that same phone to Marcus Reed. He turned a phone that was another disastrous purchase to one of the best phones I've ever had. With every rooted bell and whistle you can think of. At one point I called his work number and 10 pm. to ask a question about the phone. Thinking I'm just going to leave a message. Not only did he pick up but he solved my problem in a matter of seconds. I'm almost 60, which means I've been around long enough to know that it is hard to find a company as dedicated to their customers as IQ Computer Services. Not only do I recommend them, I've decided to stop buying 700 dollar phones that are obsolete a year later. A better idea is to purchase a "Like New" phone from Marcus Reed at IQ and save the five hundred you have left over for something else. And "no" I'm not related to the guy. Do yourself and your wallet a favor. Use IQ Computer Services.

Tuvy was great! He was super helpful in answering all of my questions about getting my device repaired and very quick to respond to both email & text message communication. He offered several different options to repair my device with great explanation about all of them. Once we made a decision, he was able to schedule the repair quickly and was flexible to come pick up and return the device to accommodate my schedule. The repair was done quickly and the phone looks like new! Great work, great communication, & very responsive! Tuvy was professional & punctual and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a technician to repair their mobile device! :)

I think this computer shop is great, met these guys passing flyers at silver spring metro and told me they can fix my cell phone cracked screen and will give me 10% off. I have a iPhone 5s that i dropped while I was running down stairs. It was shattered completely, i went to various repair shops but all were very expensive, hell i can order the part and install it but i don't feel comfortable opening my phone up that cost me $300. Any-who, I left it at the shop with Zeid, he ordered the part within 2 days it has arrived, he text me to let me know and installed it same day. I was impressed with his service and the price of $100 was very affordable being a dad with 3 kids. I was impressed with the service. I would use his services again if I have a problem.

Phone screen was replaced within a few hours with pick-up and delivery service of the device. The cost was comparable to any other repair shop that I got an estimate from in Washington, DC to replace a cracked phone screen (except without the hassle of going to a repair shop). Highly recommend!

Accidently my left my iphone on top of my car and drove to work. A Good Samaritan found the phone blocks away from my home in the side of the road, answered when I called and returned it to me, but the screen was completely crushed. It looked like a car ran over it and permanently ruined it, but I had a flyer from RefuGeek and thought I would give them a try. So glad I did. They picked up the phone that evening and returned it to me the next day looking brand new and working perfectly. Convenience, price, timeliness and quality what more could I ask for.

Paul McAllister replaced a charging port on my Kindle Fire and did an amazing job. My kindle was returned in a timely manner and was not damaged in the process. He also cleaned and repaired my home computer that I thought was it was unrepairable. I'm so glad I talked to Paul first and gave it to him to look at before spending money on a new one! I highly recommend him for any of your computer or cell phone repair needs.

I had two printers that needed repair, and I brought them to K&K Computers. The owner of the company was very friendly. Within the first day, I was informed that one of the printers was not worth repairing as it would cost more to repair it than to buy a new one (most people would say they already knew this, but the cost of ink made me believe repairing an old printer would be worth it). I was charged a diagnostic fee of $45 to learn this (which is explained up-front in their fee explanation). K&K then continued working on my other printer for another week, purchasing the new printhead which needed to be repaired. After two weeks of trying to fix the second printer--sitting on the phone with Epson people and trying various methods to resolve the problem, he rendered the printer not worth saving, as it would be more expensive than the printer itself. Although K&K Computers did not return a fixed printer to me, I give them 5 stars for working so hard, spending so many extra hours trying to resolve my printer's issues and only charging me that initial diagnostic fee per printer and the cost of the printhead ($120 total) when any other working person would charge by the hour. I was also very happy with the professionalism, the friendly demeanor, and the quick responses K&K had when I asked many questions throughout the process. He also offered additional help with my printer(s) in the future if I ever had any questions.

How much does it cost to fix an iPhone screen?

A broken iPhone screen doesn’t have to mean shelling out major money for a new phone. iPhone repair is an easy solution for a cracked or damaged iPhone screen that will have it looking as good as new in no time. The size of your iPhone will affect screen cost. Another factor that affects iPhone repair cost is whether you want to have your LCD repaired or replaced at the same time that you have your screen fixed. If you have AppleCare (Apple’s insurance), screen repair costs an additional $29 fee. Prices for Apple’s screen repair without AppleCare coverage vary based on your screen size. Here are some examples of average cost from less expensive third-party providers:

          • iPhone 5/5S/5C: $75, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
          • iPhone SE: $124.99, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
          • iPhone 6: $99.99, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
          • iPhone 6 Plus/6S: $125, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
          • iPhone 7/7 Plus: $174.99, full screen replacement including the LCD and digitizer.
          • iPhone 4/4S: $70, glass and LCD repair.
          • iPhone 5/5S/5C: $80, glass and LCD repair.
          • iPhone SE: $80, glass and LCD repair.
          • iPhone 6: $90, glass and LCD repair.
          • iPhone 6 Plus: $100, glass and LCD repair.
          • iPhone 6S: $110, glass and LCD repair.
          • iPhone 6S Plus: $130, glass and LCD repair.

How much does it cost to fix the Home button on an iPhone?

If the Home button on your iPhone has stopped working, it might be time for professional help. If your Home button problem is caused by a faulty product and you’re under warranty, the repair will be free. However, if you (or your dog who stepped on the phone) are the culprit, there will be a fee for repair. iPhone repair costs will vary depending on the model of your phone, who is providing the service, and whether your phone is under warranty or you have the extended warranty called AppleCare. If Apple repairs an iPhone that is out of warranty, the cost will be higher than from a third-party provider. One reason to consider paying more for repair by Apple is that using an outside service for repairs can sometimes void other Apple warranties that are in effect for your iPhone. Home button repair falls under Apple’s “other damage” repair pricing category, which costs a flat fee of $99 under AppleCare. If your phone is out of warranty, here are some of the average prices you can expect to pay to repair a Home button:

          • iPhone 8 Plus: $399.
          • iPhone 8: $349.
          • iPhone 7 Plus: $349.
          • iPhone 7: $319.
          • iPhone 6s Plus: $329.
          • iPhone 6 Plus: $329.
          • iPhone 6s: $299.
          • iPhone 6: $299.
          • iPhone SE: $269.
          • iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5: $269.
          • iPhone 4s: $199.
          • iPhone 4: $149.
          • iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G: $149.

How much is it to fix a water-damaged iPhone?

If your iPhone has been damaged by water, there’s still hope. It often costs less to repair an iPhone than to buy a new phone, and you can save your contacts, photos and other stored data. If you have AppleCare, the extended warranty provided by Apple, your coverage includes two incidents of accidental damage for repair at the rates listed below. Using a third-party provider can save you money; however, once an outside vendor has done work on your phone, your warranty may be voided and Apple may no longer provide service for your phone. Here are Apple’s charges for iPhone repair for water damage (classified as “other damage” on their website):

          • iPhone X: $549.
          • iPhone 8 Plus: $399.
          • iPhone 8: $349.
          • iPhone 7 Plus: $349.
          • iPhone 7: $319.
          • iPhone 6s Plus: $329.
          • iPhone 6 Plus: $329.
          • iPhone 6s: $299.
          • iPhone 6: $299.
          • iPhone SE: $269.
          • iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5: $269.
          • iPhone 4s: $199.
          • iPhone 4: $149.
          • iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G: $149.

How much does it cost to replace the screen on an iPhone 6?

An iPhone screen can crack fairly easily, so it’s always recommended to use a shock-absorbing case and a tempered glass screen protector to help keep your investment safe. Replacing the screen on your iPhone 6 will vary in price depending on which iPhone 6 model you have and who provides the repair. Third-party vendors provide lower-cost service than Apple for iPhone repair, unless you have Apple’s product insurance, AppleCare. Here are some examples of iPhone 6 screen and LCD average repair costs from third-party providers:

          • iPhone 6: $90.
          • iPhone 6 Plus: $100.
          • iPhone 6S: $110.
          • iPhone 6S Plus: $130.

You may prefer to have your iPhone repaired by Apple. If you have AppleCare, your screen repair cost will be $29, but if you don’t have this coverage, iPhone repair will cost more from Apple than from a third-party vendor. Here are some examples of average iPhone screen repair cost when provided by Apple without AppleCare:

          • iPhone 6: $129.
          • iPhone 6 Plus: $149.
          • iPhone 6s: $149.
          • iPhone 6s Plus: $169.

The average national cost for an iPhone technician is $80-$100 per hour
