Monette C. says, "What an amazing experience I had with Alberto. I needed two bathrooms renovated, new floors, wall/drywall repair, vanity replacements/demo, plumbing, new ceiling fans installed, quarter round and moulding installed , light fixtures replaced. Alberto and his team did ALL of this for me in 2 days!!!!! They came early and worked 12 hour days, which was fine with me. They cleaned up behind themselves. They had every tool they needed, which was shocking to me due to the variety of tasks they had to do. Alberto went above and beyond. Although there is a bit of a language barrier, I wrote down what I wanted done, the same night he sent me an estimate that was clear and concise with a price to do the work and how long it would take him to do the work. He started 48 hours later and was done in two days. It just amazes me how Alberto and his team were laser focused on getting the job done. They are coming back in two weeks to put down hardwood flooring and do some painting. Next year I m going to have them renovate my kitchen. If you have any carpentry tasks that need to be completed. Hire Alberto now. His business is going to flourish if he continues to treat all his customers the way he handled my job. I had three American speaking men come out to give me an estimate, they could not get a complete estimate for the work I requested. Going back and forth with them was frustrating. This did not happen with Alberto. So excited I have a reliable company I can call when I need work completed. His prices were very fair. I cannot recommend this company enough. Thank You Alberto. Bravo. 👏👏👏👏"See more

FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How do you strengthen a fence gate?

If you think your gate needs reinforcement, hire a fence repair professional in your area. Squaring up a fence gate may require adding corner brackets, installing a cable and turnbuckle, and cinching and tightening the cable to the appropriate tension. All of these repairs, as well as digging a new post hole, require expertise and know-how.

How much does it cost to fix a fence?

The average cost of fence repairs is around $250, with most homeowners paying anywhere between $200 and $300. Fence repairs have a wide range of potential costs, however, ranging from $50 to as much as $1,443. The cost of your fence repair project depends on multiple factors, including where you live, what type of repair you need, the terrain and the fence materials used.

Contact several fence repair professionals near you to get an accurate cost estimate for your fence.

Who installs fences?

Fencing contractors are the best choice when you want to have a fence installed on your property. While there are several types of professionals who can likely handle this service — including handymen, landscapers and general contractors — a fencing contractor has the experience to know what could cause potential problems in the long run. This might include wet spots, vegetation or other issues with the land.

When choosing a professional to install a fence on your property, make sure they have credentials and experience.

Why does my gate sag?

A gate can sag for a number of reasons. One common reason is that the screws holding the hinges in the wood or other post material have come loose, causing gravity to pull the fence down. Another common problem is the gate post’s lack of stability. Posts can become loose and start to lean, or if they are wooden, they can even rot at the point where they meet the ground.
