He did a great job putting both office furniture and upholstered bed together. Was professional, pleasant, neat, and extremely willing to please. Would highly recommend him and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
Timothy helped me with my move from Baltimore to a studio apartment Washington, DC. The main pieces were a few large IKEA furniture and many boxes of personal items. It took a few hours from start to finish. Although he was on vacation at the time, Timothy arranged for my move from Trinidad. He was quick to adapt to challenges presented by my furniture and the narrow corridors and stairwells they had to go down. I was very satisfied with my move and even had time to go hang around my new neighbourhood before starting to unpack. Timothy was personable and friendly. He is the type that rolls up his own sleeves before asking his team to chip in. It was great getting to know him and he has the best recommendations for Ethiopian! All in all, I was very satisfied. Aside from a few dents in the wall from very challenging furniture and some miscommunication, everything ended up just right. Thanks!
Exceptional service by Jandy. He was very responsive, professional, and punctual. He responded within hours of my request; approximately 10 minutes after the furniture arrived. He went right to work and didn’t stop until the job was completed. Again, exceptional service from an exceptional professional!
I couldn’t have had a better experience with Herbert and his team. They were professional and friendly and did an outstanding job assembling my furniture. They worked very efficiently and I was very impressed with their work quality and attention to detail. I recommend HP Contracting with the highest enthusiasm. Hired Charlie and his crew literally last minute and he was able to accommodate us. We just had them move our big items and they did it with ease. They disassembled and reassembled our furniture into our new house. Thanks again for the help!
I was beyond impressed with Tony. He helped me put together furniture (stools, couch, etc) hang blinds and put up a backsplash. Tony is very detailed orientated, does not cut corners, and is very patient. One thing I really appreciated was he assisted me in calling the customer service center of the company that sent me my coffee table with the wrong parts, and told them exactly what I needed. I will definitely be having Tony come back to help me put together my coffee table and my future furniture!

I was really impressed with Hugo and his work. He came to my house the next day after getting the quote - which was very reasonable. He did the work i needed, and tested the results with me to ensure I was satisfied. He also patched drywall that was cut during the installation, and completely cleaned up and replaced furniture that was moved. The repair is so good - it's almost like it never happened.
Super impressed! Was incredibly responsive and showed up on time. Hired for wallpaper and he did a fantastic job. While here, they disassembled and reassembled furniture that my movers said could not fit in my house. Having them come back to do more.
The job went well and the movers were very quick in taking boxes to and from each location. My furniture was wrapped in shrink wrap plus blankets to ensure it was not harmed in the process. The movers did arrive later than expected and I had to call the owner to find out where they were. Other than the early setback the move went smoothly with no issues. Would use again. Highly recommended movers at an affordable cost.
Trenton assembled 3 pieces of office furniture for me. He was on time and professional. There were issues w/ the delivery of the furniture, but Trenton was understanding about the situation and returned to complete each piece when it arrived to my office. I would hire him again!
Highly recommended! We needed to move selected pieces to a storage unit. Greg and his team were ready at the requested time - arrived a little before to be sure - and worked quickly to get items downstairs so the dedicated elevator could be released for passengers. On arrival at the storage unit, the team placed items just as I had measured/planned to get everything into a tight space, even when it involved overhead lifting or crawling on the floor to scoot items closer together. Really appreciate the effort! I was also impressed with Greg's professionalism. He responded quickly to my request and was (I suspect) the only vendor to read through my requirements before responding - he tailored his quote to my situation, rather than just asking me to call to discuss. He provided insurance information as requested by our building and stayed in touch before Move Day to make sure everything was still on track. We had a small-world moment when we realized that Greg's company had been hired by a furniture vendor to do an installation for us a couple months ago. In that situation, they worked in an open office during the business day and did not disrupt our operations at all. We are a pretty laid-back place, but still - that is impressive. I was glad to know that the same team was managing today's move!
Had G do a number of services for me and the results are always spot on! He can handle anything from picture hanging, electrical work, ceiling fan installation, furniture assembly and even hauling away junk. He's always punctual, prepared and ready for the job with a game plan. Not to mention good on advice on next steps and maintenance reminders. I recently had G breakdown and transport furniture. He was on time, worked quickly and even called when the furniture was at its destination. I use G and recommend him repeatedly!

Carlos repaired a damaged dining room table and revived a dresser (that had also sustained damage in a move). Both pieces look fantastic, and he was able to do the repairs in my home, which was great since I had no way to move large furniture. He promptly provided a written estimate via email and called and arrived exactly on time as promised. Overall a great experience, thank you!

Professional and punctual. We moved into a new townhome and had some furniture items that didn’t fit as well as all of our empty boxes to remove. Nelson arrived within his one hour arrival window, took everything outside and loaded it into a pickup truck. We had a lot of boxes and I was a little nervous that it wouldn’t all fit on his truck - but he made it work!
Wouldn't hire anyone but Justin! He put together three huge IKEA pieces for me and was so kind. Very professional and very thorough in his work. I am so so impressed and happy with my furniture. Fast, affordable, and a great guy!! Will definetley be calling him whenever I need help again.

John refinished the furniture and it looks even better than when we bought it. They finished weeks earlier than they told us and we were thrilled! This is the second job 5th Gen has done for us (the first was a kitchen remodel two years ago), and the experience has been excellent. These folks are craftsmen. The custom cabinets and shelves are beautiful, like a high quality piece of furniture. The individuals doing the work are very pleasant and have been careful to consult us before making any decisions about the work. This work was largely in our living room, and they cleaned up completely at the end of each day so that we could use the room in the evening. We woud hire them again in the future, and probably will. It took a while to get the job started as their schedule is full, but no different from other contractors, in our experience.
