If I could give more than five stars I would! They built a screened in porch on the front of my house and did a beautiful job.They were extremely professional, got their work done in a timely manner and a very fair price. A shout out to Pete, he communicated so well throughout the process. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience, I will definitely use them again in the future.

I contacted Acumen to receive a quote to convert a covered patio to a screened in porch. My wife and I wanted the new renovation/addition to blend in to our Brookside neighborhood of 100 year old homes. The Acumen team asked the right questions, provided detailed options and delivered above and beyond expectations. We'd recommend Acumen to anyone looking to do a similar project and personally will contact them when we decide to take on the next upgrade to our home.Can't recommend the team highly enough. Timely, courteous and professional. Hard to find these days.

Acumen recently replaced my decrepit interior and exterior front doors. The doors are beautiful ! And their quality construction and dead bolts add a layer of security.I picked Acumen randomly out of the phone book as I was desperate to have a large hole in my deck repaired. Josh inspected the deck and ,while he was here, we discussed other renovations that were needed on the house. I received product information, estimates, and possible timing for the job to be performed in a timely manner. All my dumb old lady questions were answered courteously.My house is old and needed a few minor structural repairs before the doors could be installed. Josh and his crew did the needed repairs . I appreciate the attention to detail . This was NOT a slipshod job.I feel fortunate to have found such a good company at random. After looking at Acumen's Facebook page I see others agree with me.

We needed some vinyl trim put back in place that had fallen off. Joshua answered our call right away. Came that very evening to take a look. two nights later he did the fix. Even though it was not a big job, he made us feel like it was just as important to him to get it done as it was for us.We are replacing our deck and have chosen his company, Acumen Renovations, to do the job.

These folks are super trustworthy! I hired them to replace the posts on my front porch. They acquired the materials and drove out to Lawrence, but on second inspection decided my post were holding strong and it wouldn't be worth my money to replace them. I took up a couple hours of their time (they even caulked my porch post!) and wouldn't take any money. I'm amazed. Thanks fellas!
