Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am a teacher at heart. I also have a BS in elementary education and am currently a teacher for children with autism. I love to be active, and I believe being healthy is more important than anything else- you are only given one body, mind, and spirit! (In this lifetime at least:) ) I believe in teaching a well-rounded practice and encouraging you when the going gets tough. That's what helps you realize your true potential after all! I love helping people learn how to help themselves. It's satisfying to watch others feel empowered by themselves!

Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, Chelsea has a way of making you feel like a close friend and completely at ease in her yoga sessions. Before jumping into the sequence, she always takes the time to ask how everyone is feeling physically and emotionally, as well as how often we do yoga - answers which she will use to adjust the sequence based on the overall mood of the group as well as substitute moves that may worsen any pain or injuries mentioned. She's great at reminding us to be aware of where our bodies are at (physically), often encouraging us to challenge ourselves along the way, but also to accept and appreciate what our bodies are capable of in this moment. While going through the sequences, she knows how to help us make the very best version of a pose or stretch, being detailed in her explanations of what we should be feeling and and how we should be moving, and often times adjusting our body position and helping us sink into a deeper stretch by placing her hands gently on us. Chelsea is amazing at being honest and authentic about how she’s been feeling that week - from what she is excited about and everything that has been going great to what’s been irritating her and parts of life that she’s been struggling with. She always relates her real life emotions with how yoga can help you get through those rough patches by coming back to your breath and being in the present moment. She’ll end every session with a relaxing Savasana where she reviews what we worked on and how we can carry these simple yoga principles with us in our everyday lives. It’s always a bonus when she plays guitar and sings beautiful lines of chants that greatly enhance the Savasana relaxation period. I’ve attended several sessions with Chelsea at a few different locations - from a quiet basement to a noisy gymnastics gym, and even a city park next to an busy interstate - and she is always able to adapt to each environment with ease, reducing distractions and emphasizing focus. I would highly recommend Chelsea to anyone who wants to get started with the basics of Yoga, as well as veterans who want to further their practice. She is one of the most kind, authentic, and glowing individuals I have ever met and I am grateful for the sessions and time I was able to spend with her.
